I like the class A front end on the pres, they can use a better power supply, you can upgrade the one it comes with, makes a huge difference for the better.
I love this board! I first learned all-round recording and mixing engineering on this model! It was a clean, near digital sound it cranked out. If anyone was selling this beauty in good condition I'd buy it in a heartbeat once cash is at hand. It's a great Board!
i really don't like the soundcraft spirit...it's not a comfortable console, and i don't like its global performance, i prefer the mackie 32.8 more...but it's just my opinion
You can buy one from various powersupply manufacturers, like power one, international power, or buy an A&H RPS11.

The cameraman needs a tripod for the closeups. The shaky-cam thing doesn't work for beauty shots. The pans would benefit from a fluid head as well.

In live use or recording? I haven't met a Mackie in live situations that I liked, Studio recording though is a different story.
