  • one of your sos lights are out

  • why do yu keep opening the doors in the middle of the video........what the point?

  • 0:39

  • who is he?

  • y is the bus's left warning light work?

  • @1963yusuf The light was repossessed by the banks

  • at 0:46 did that stop sign freeze?

  • OK, not to be rude, but the opening and closing of the doors over and over was annoying.

  • what's up with that guy saying those numbers?

  • @bpmagruder

    It's an Auction....

  • Do the TCs and All American use the same engine, what makes them different from one another why not just buy a 72 passenger All American instead of a 72 passenger TC for example?

  • @heyto

The TC's and All Americans at the time did use the same engines. The All American used a drop frame chassis, which was more appealing to some districts. The other difference is the front end, look at pictures and you'll see.

  • i have a bluebird bus at my school named mr.ed

  • yea we get it the doors work

  • is that a5.9?

  • what is that thing that pops out in the front?is it to stop cars that are coming from left or right?

  • down/up/out here in SC, we need to auction our BlueBird/International/Carpenter S Series...old pieces of rusty shit. haha w/e, good vid, except for those red lights burnin out.

  • I wish we had school buses in Sweden to.

  • OPENING : I think its good the doors and Stop Arm (StopSign) open @ the same time and i also think the cross arms not to far behind it.

CLOSING : Its good the door closes 1st and the lights flash for about 5 more secs and the cross arm stays out. Might wanna get that Red Light fixed!!

  • Where was this auction at?

  • whats that thing on the bumper that swings about

  • cross gate

  • what does it do

  • that i dont know

  • It is supposed to tell kids not to cross in front of the bus. Or sometimes to indicate to cars if its at a corner.

  • its a crossing arm so the kids know how far to go from the bus when crossing the street

  • its something the kids stand in front of when it swings out so the bus driver can see you

  • sounds like a cummins isc

  • Nice the lights are out

  • for what is that thing on the bumber that comes out when doors open?

  • That is the crossing gate and it keeps the kids away from the front of the bus when loading or unloading.

  • ok, thanks cool bus

  • the gate is really slow but the one on my bus is really fast

  • 10 FEET LONG RIGHT

  • @taxi7676 yah

  • do you have any video's from the inside?

How about any 1996 TC2000RE videos?

  • now this is the bus with the middle gauge that changes during start up

  • This is the bus I ride going home, but the brakes sound better on this one and we dont have a crossing gate and the stop sign is in the back

  • this is my favrit school bus sorry on spelling

  • OK, the bus either just pulled in from a run, or you had it running for awhile!! LOL It takes a little longer than that to complete a proper air brake test my friend- What's your point?

  • Wow I just read this comment. Sorry I did not reply sooner. I was just testing everything out to see if everything functioned properly as I was thinking about buying one for an RV conversion.

  • someday i wanna be a bus driver!

  • ahh the good ole bluebirds the ones i use to ride when i was going to school..MS & HS..looks like your left red light was out...would like to see more of that i find those blinking lights to be awesome!

  • I like this bus, but besides the AllAmericanFE, and Thomas Built, I think the Thomas Built HDX is awesome, it's huge coming down the road, and looks awesome! :p

  • how about illinois,in general, or wisconsin, iowa, or indiana? i would like 1 jus to use to haul my construction materials and misc. stuff around to job sites...its easier

  • where can i get a bus like that in northern illinois, without paying an arm and a leg for it?

  • not sure

  • @676094 you can try ebay motors

  • We had a Blue Bird 'Wanderlodge' growing up, it sounded just like that bus. I would step on the brake pedal to hear the system vent and pressurize.

  • is this door controlled by a switch or a crank?

  • switch

  • Just wondering, how are you able to get on buses and try out the stuff like this?

  • I went to a bus auction where this is allowed.

  • Cool.

  • Your lucky.

  • you should definatly make many more vids like this one with the outside view of the lights ect

  • and yes.. it does have a 5.9L Cummins Diesel

  • I could watch this over and over.. any more vids Ian?

  • Cummins 5.9?

  • I believe so.

  • I wanna try that! Course I would probably hit a few kids with that door LOL!!

  • Was that a manual door or an air door?

  • Air

  • I never seen a school bus with some kind of fence in front of the bus that opens out when you turn on the red lights and the stop sign.

  • i know in my school district...some of the Thomas Vistas and the older ER's had the wire like this bus instead of the yellow bar. but they are slowly replacing the wire with the yellow bar.

  • Cool.

  • These products are there to keep kids from walking too close to the bus so the driver can see them better

  • That makes sence.

  • bad idea! i almost tripped over the one on the bus i ride!

  • No, Its not a bad idea. Its there to save lives. You shouldn't be walking that close to the front of the bus.

  • great video Ian.. keep em coming.

  • Jesus! The first time you opened the door I thought, "My God that thing could kill someone!" Sucker openned way fast!

    Nice vid dude.
