i know how to do:  Go swim, when your sim is in the bad. Use cheat: 'testingcheatsenabled true' hold Shift now, and click on your sim. click on 'change sim in sim creator' and now i dont say it anymore, just figure it out >:)

one time my sim went swimming while giving birth. she was in the middle of giving birth when she stopped holding her stomach and she just jumped in the pool. i was laughing sooo hard! lol

If your sim has the Insane trait, it tends to wear the wrong outfit at the wrong time. Now I am not positive, but this could be why she is swimming in her Everyday outfit instead of her baiting suit. For example, an Insane sim would go to sleep in their Formal attire, or go to the park in their baiting suit.

My sims Did this too! She was in the pool and then the carpool for work came, so she decided... 'why should I stop having fun, swimming, when I could just change IN THE POOL!?'

And so she did. Great Idea I can tell yah, tried it myself, a little bit wet but it was ok. ;)

Its a cheat!! If you download custom content clothes and they are possible to have on swimsuit blah blah blah... then when you jump in the water you'll have the clothes on :) Very simple :)

It happens to me too but it's because you can make basements which means the pool is like a basement with water.I'm tring to look for cheats that turn it back to normal,but I haven't found any yet.so when they jump/get in the pool and they disappear,go to the left hand corner,go to where you can change the level of the house and then just go down a bunch of times untill you see your sims in the pool with nothing/no one around it.it's pretty weird.

Thats true i had the Fastest Computer Seed there is no more fasther than I have is 2GB I think... I clicked advance reendering and now is like a little laggy type kinda bothers so i again Disable that mode.. I didnt cunstruct a swimming pool i you want to see your sim in the swimming pool just click go a floor down.LOL

@igoofygirls I figured out the problem. Well I haven't played The Sims 3 in a long time but I remember it had something do with the graphics. You have to enable shadows or something like that. Sorry I can't really get specific because I don't really remember. Lol, I think you have to go to options while in the game.

If your computer can't handle advanced rendering, you won't be able to see pools normally. It isn't a glitch.

@h0mezfoo ligh blue color in this pool comes from the wall paint your using inside the pool. if you have a black paint in there pool will look black. same thing with the floor of the pool. 'bout the disappering - i dont know shit about that.
