@turkaljd - It sounds to me like it's based on Roumanian Rhapsody No. 1 by Georges Enescu, the second half of the rhapsody has it. Check it out on youtube as i can't put a link to it here.
Ciocarlia, translated "the lark" is not the creation of George Enescu nor Grigoras Dinicu. It is a popular creation from the romanian folklore. So, it's from the people. It does not have a determined author or composer. It's like "Miorita" (for the one's who know what I'm yapping about here). Everyone else just adapted the song.
It is not playing by Hungarians in a XCzech pub but it´s playing by violin masters from Slovakia bithing in Hradiště pod Vrátnom. I spebt a time with this violin master in folk group called Iskerka.
Be more knowledged to write about these boy my friend.
a beautiful song of romanian composer George Enescu ...fucked up by a bunch of retard hungarian gypsies.Hunagayrians a nation without identity stealing all their culture from slovakians, serbians, romanians and austrians...go girls
stupid and ignorant man, this is only a gypsy interpretation, but the melody is compose by a romanian composer. Check yourself,or maybe is too much for your ignorance! make your homeworks and after speach, because you be taking by idiot!an by the way hate is seen to be see in your hearts with the free replic about romanians. But the sleep of mind born monsters...
I'm hungarian myself... that's because gypsy's are full of passion and heart. I know how it feels, like when I play violin. They just have fun doing it... it's like partying or dancing for them. Plus they've been trained as young kids to make money in bars, as you see now.
"Ciocârlia is a well-known Romanian folk tune that was first made popular by violinist Angheluş Dinicu in the 19th century. Its popularity spread further afterwards, thanks to Angheluş's grandson, Grigoraş Dinicu, and to violinist/composer George Enescu."
So this tune has an anonymous composer and was collected by Angheluş Dinicu.

Enescu also quoted Ciocârlia in his popular composition, the Romanian Rhapsody No.1 for orchestra.
An old Romanian folkloric piece interpreted well by Hungarians....It's good to see that at least music can bring us together since through our history we have been at each other's throats....
This makes me want to quit playing... I gladly accept my defeat.

Nice... Romanian song, played by Hungarians in Czech Republic - and people still say that European cultures are very different :-)
Excellent violin, few can do it like that.
