i lookd at dis yesterday thanks fa tha help bruh...i play it tha exact same way bt i gt my on lil twist but thanks fa tha extra thump....had ta pause and write fa a min bt got it LOL
Its my dream to learn how to play this song. I remember when Bishop Patterson used to open up congration to this as a kid. Can you please help me. A# is my strongest key and should be able to pick up most of the chords if showed to me. Thank you so much
@moderadonna Bishop C H Mason had a vision of a church that teaches following the word and not only preaching it so he founded the Church Of God In Christ (C,O,G.I.C)...haha and if you a cogic musician the first thing they make u learn is yes lord...i play it every church service
Hooking up midis to laptops is the best way to go. Keyboards are in the past. Just hook a keyboard up to a laptop and download the software (or sound) you want. No more going out and buying new keyboards.
Please make "Yes Lord" longer. Please record this again and make it longer. We are using this when we pray. You can also eliminate the introduction song. Just go straight into "Yes Lord."
@StarlingSounds I have same software and midi interface keyboard but my organ does't come close to that. How did you get the organ to sound like that?
@Tiggamax It is the Cathedral Organ Sound.. Also you have to have a regular sustain foot pedal plugged into the controller. It will use the leslie already configured for the sound.
The part I was wondering about I figured out. Thanks for the video though. I truly enjoy them, and my fellow church members love when I come w/ songs from you. God bless!!! The Lord has great things in store for you. Kepp up the good work.
im not sure if you understand this, but the part at about 1:48 when you go back into the chord of the main key of the song...and you switch and do a run before it...how do you do that? i've been trying to learn that for years
I actually learned something from that. Not like watching some organizt who dont keep the camera steady or play so fast that u get nothing out of it but the chills up your spine.
man this is good...i love that organ sound on that keyboard

COGIC is so distinctive in sound! I wonder how it developed. Maybe you could do a video on that subject because I would love to know

how do you get that b3 sound?does it comes with it or is it a special software and what a bout that leslie? Is it a pedal you use?
jmurray06 3 years ago
The sounds comes with the Software and the leslie effect is based on the wheel or trigger on the m-audio board.
