good song! Confonting mortality is always a tough sell (but well worth it.)
Might I suggest an ironic bridge to relieve the thematic and melodic monotony - ala; a "lennonesqe" middle eight.
- Perhaps a life affirming concept in a relative minor key?
It might help to more firmly anchor the idea in the consciousness of your audience.
Please don't misunderstand Me; I enjoyed it as it is.
But I am a songwriter as well, and I love to collaborate.
