@mixedbreed1282 - Some weight reduction and a cam was in the works until I decided to put it up for sale (asking 15K). It's a 3800+ lb car with driver and running a D1 on a stock LS1. Those two changes will put it in the 10's easy since all other supporting mods are already in place (fuel system, suspension, rear end).
@mixedbreed1282 - Besides, safety is not something to take for granted. Maybe your tracks don't kick people out for driving unsafe cars that won't meet NHRA rules. But, mine will.

@METALGEARZETTO As a vette owner I have had a civic beat me but it was no ordinary civic. the guy put more into that engine than the price of my vette. but i also have a Neon CS that I play with & like his civic it also has a turbo. I manly got it to be an economical curve carver. it's no vette but it seats 5, has leather, is decent on fuel & is a very fun car to drive (since I installed the turbo anyway). There is much to be said about building your own. I'm having a blast playing with turbos

Interior has a cage, system, and seats. Probably missing some stuff....but, I didn't do many of the mods. Just been fixing the problem areas the previous owner left me.

Interior has a cage, system, and seats. Probably missing some stuff....but, I didn't do many of the mods. Just been fixing the problem areas the previous owner left me.

lol DUDE i own a custom eclipse, (my pic) and a 99 camaro SS. i raced a 1998 BMW M3 V8 4 door. actual pink slips. he wastalking all trash about how german engineering is superior, so we took it to some amish roads with no cops.
