He was pressured into and out of so many things it made his life hell, causing depression that never left him. His father had him obsessing with finances, Tom Parker bullied him into handing over too much creative control and percentage of earnings, the Memphis Mafia gave him a lot of advice, both good and bad, for his sake and theirs, & he was virtually forced into marriage by Priscilla's father.
