  • Ryan White is a hero in my heart. Rest in peace Ryan

  • I was in junior high back then, and we all used to make fun of him. We made fun of the Challenger explosion and when Reagan got shot too. Kids are scum. Unfortunately the adults also made Ryan White's life a living hell. Most people had Fred Phelps like beliefs about people w/ AIDS in those days. Some dagos actually threw a rock thru this kid's living room picture window like the KKK. Lots of kids say that Ryan White got AIDS for being molested by a gay man and not a blood transfusion.

  • Thank you for posting this. I am doing a sermon series on heaven as a Worship Arts Director in Las Vegas. I am honored to say that singing in the Second Presbyterian Choir for Ryan's Memorial was the start of a calling that I responded to in my early college years. If it weren't for Ryan and your dear family, I might have not heard God's direction in my life. God bless you, Ryan and your family for you have touched my life even from heaven.

    Love in Christ,

    Jamie Dick

  • I was 4 monthes away from delivering my first child when Ryan died. Now my son is the same age when Ryan passed away. Wow how time goes by.

Ryan can now catch Michael up on all the news that's been going on up there and they can start horsing around together. Knowing Michael, they'll probably play some practical jokes on God and have water balloon fights with angels ;-)

  • OMG i cried like a Baby when i saw this, especially Jeanne touching him in his casket, i immediately thought of my kids and i couldnt dare imagine having to do that, I love you bro.... hope to meet u

  • This is excellent! I am a hemophiliac and 30 year survivor of HIV. April 10th is the 20th anniversary of Ryan's death. I can make use of this video in an effort to educate people about what his life and death meant to AIDS sufferers globally. Thank you for producing the video!

  • @barryhaarde You may like to know that California added Azt to its list of known carcinogens as of December 2009. You may also like to include the label....google...Azt Label

  • @mykoolaidtastesfunny Interesting. I took the conventional approach and began taking meds in '92-AZT. I was on it 15 years.

  • @barryhaarde

WOW...you're lucky to be alive. Most of the people who took azt are dead now. I have a video about a class action lawsuit about that in my favorites you may want to check out.

  • @barryhaarde Bless you, brother. Good going. Keep healthy and happy!

  • Beautiful video; I remember Ryan White. He made national headlines back then. It was very sad & disheartening how he was treated.

  • You showed us how to stand and fight

In the rain you were a cloudburst of joy

The sparkle of hope in every girl and boy

In the depths of your anguished sorrow

Was the dream of another tomorrow.

  • Child of Irony, of child of fiction? I think of your shattered life Of your struggle, of your strife While ladies dance in the moonlit night Champagne parties on chartered cruises I see your wasted form, your ghostly sight I feel your festering wounds, your battered bruises Ryan White, symbol of agony and pain Of ignorant fear gone insane In a hysterical society With free-floating anxiety And feigned piety I miss you, Ryan White
  • Ryan White, symbol of justice

Or child of innocence, messenger of love

Where are you now, where have you gone?

Ryan White, I miss your sunny days

We carelessly frolicked in extended plays

    I miss you, Ryan White

I miss your smile, innocent and bright

I miss your glory, I miss your light

    Ryan White, symbol of contradiction

  • who is ryan white and what happened to him???

  • Ryan hasd AIDS and gone to soon !!

  • Glad to see Ryan is back in the subject...I knew it was time he come back to make us all think...

  • You not know me folks, But I am a home town no name kinda girl...I absolutely love artest who help. I always will luv the Sir Elton John as well as the King Micheal. Both these artest as well as others deserve recognition...Not only do they sing great, they are wonderful role models as well as patience with the press...I only hope one day I can see Sir Mr Elron live...That would be so something I never even have werds to say...Peace all :)

  • Ryan White- this name will always trigger blessings frm the bottom of my heart... I have no words...

  • Like A Comet

    Blazing 'Cross The Evening Sky

    Gone Too Soon

  • beautiful song

  • What a beautiful kid, so strong!! This really made me think of how wonderful Michael Jackson was to him:) Especially since Ryan was kept out of the social communities and stuff... tells a lot about what a person MJ really was.. won't forget Elton John either, but the difference here is that Michael Jackson spent so much of his life helping others than himself, and he got so little back... RIP Ryan White and Michael Jackson <3

  • I'm just a couple years older than Ryan, so I remember his story so well. I was just thinking today how great Elton John and Michael Jackson were to him. They gave him some great experiences in the few years he had left. And I read today that Jeanne White (Ryan's mom) said that MJ kept in touch with her in the almost 20 years since Ryan died and even called her on Mother's Day once just to tell her he was thinking about her. This is the kind of stuff that never gets reported.

  • I believe the article you read about Jeanne White. Michael Jackson always said the good stuff don't sell, so they just write about the bad stuff cause it sells. Makes the world sound viscious for being interested. So sad, I think MJ was here to serve a purpose as we all are but I think his message still isn't clear to a lot of the world. All we can do is be tolerant of all, perhaps?

  • I have to agree with you on this Cathie8791. you will never hear about all the good people do on the tabloids and media, and that is so sad that we live in a malicious and sick world. Now I am really believing a lot about the good Michael did in his life, he wasnt like other famous people that did dope, or had multiple kids from different partners. He cared about helping people and doing good and its a damn shame he got caught up in all this bullshit media and child allegations. RIP 1958-2009

  • @Cathie8791 Yeah... I actually didn't know about this :( Where did you find it? I'd like to read more!!

Lies and negative news is what they report xD what a shame

  • Ryan, you are a little man with GREAT faith~!

Hope that Michael and you could play together and enjoy laughing in the heaven~!~!

  • we love you Rayn

  • He was and always will be my hero!

  • He was handsome and extraordinary brave. May God bless his soul. RIP.

  • It's really hard to live with a disease so painfull!!But Ryan White is a very brave and bright boy!and it's really sad knowing thyat he didn't even get a chance to live his life and explore it!!!I could go on like this forever!RIP Ryan White!!

  • its just a damn shame that he didnt live to see a potential cure for aids..i hope one day there will be a cure that will get rid of aids forever!!!!!

  • he was one brave little boy thats for sure

  • Superb tribute.

  • This makes me cry soo much

  • His mom now lives in Central Florida. She was interviewed two days ago when Michael Passed away. I never knew about Ryan adn his story until I search for it. He was a very special and brave young man.

  • yeah. Michael Jackson was friends with Ryan. Even bought Ryan his 1989 Ford Mustang.

  • Yes Ryan was. Both Ryan and Michael were amazing.

  • Poor Ryan

  • shame on those parents that sued him during those difficult times. I hope they see this video and realize how idiotic they were. People like them deserve to go through pain. Ryan White is truely the perfect role model for millions and hope God continues gives Jeanne strength to live with happiness (i bet Ryan would have wanted that too)...Rest in Peace Ryan White, because you deserve it. <3

  • im sorry, but im from kokomo, an i would like to know in which cementery he was buried, i would like to go see his tomb an maybe pray a little but with a friend

  • He's in the Cicero Cemetary.

  • yes this did help me remember him and how hurtfull and ignorant people could be mainly the adults who should know better

  • WOW. I was young when Ryan first came out with his story. I always admired him. He was so brave at his young age. I can even remember writing him letters. I read his book the other day. It was amazing. Still makes me cry after all these years. I only wish that i could have met him. And let him know what a great person he was.

  • Ryan, just want to say thank you.

Without you and Elton I would not be alive today...

  • Beautiful!

  • 00:22 ..........broke my heart

  • and 01:20 too :'(

  • I really like this video, thanks for doing this. I stumbled across the Ryan White story a couple weeks ago while searching for the "Go Toward the Light" movie which I watched many times over as a kid. I have always been intrigued by other peoples stories and who they were and what they went through and Ryan White story has really intrigued me. I just wonder what it must've been like for him. Did you know him personally? How and why did you get involved in this Ryan White story?

  • Never met him. I remember all the news reports on him on TV when I was in school. and the movie. Thats why I created this video. Was to get people to remember Ryan White.

  • It's people like you that makes life worthwhile. I used to think the worst of humanity until I saw this video. You have restored my faith in the most positive and meaningful way possible. I only regret that I never had the honor of meeting Ryan. May God bless him and keep him.

  • Ryan was one of my best friends i wasn't going to look at this video but i was at my old pictures and i found some of me and Ryan . I had to see this video and my heart broke just like the day left .

Ryan you will be in my heart , love you

  • I hope video was to your liking. I did it to help people remember him.

  • Thank you , this video has touch my heart with all my fun times that me and i Ryan had ,and i can never forget them. So from the bottom of my heart thank you

  • my brother and i went to his funeral in 1990, i am 44yrs old now, and i tell people that i went and they ask me why? 2 reasons, 1., i felt sorry for him for the way he was treated, and 2., i care

  • Good. Atleast there was people on his side.

  • Ryan White we will pray for you

  • rip cutie x

  • let ryan be in our prares and thoughts he was a great and he fought for aids1 and he did a hell of a good job

  • at 2:07 he looks so cute&&happy but at 2:37 he looks very sick and sad.

r.i.p. ryan you truly will be missed

  • This is a very nice video.

Ryan White will always be remembered.

  • Before Ryan White there was me. Same doctors, same hospital [They told me to] take AZT... I said no to the doctors and I am alive. I have been black-balled by the press which made a hero out of White.

  • also Bryant..

Some people have said that the virus does exist but its a harmless one. Youll test positive for it, but it wont cause any harm. Im inclined to believe that. Because Im not sick. It hasnt hurt me, and it hasnt hurt my [HIV+] brothers, and it hasnt hurt my [HIV+] uncles. And it hasnt hurt their kids, and it hasnt hurt their wives.

And by the way, I smoke and drink... Its not like Im a health nut, or I take any extraordinary measures to protect my health.

  • it affects all people differentlyy two people in my familyy died from it it just attacks the immune system slower or faster for certain people

  • Funny how the only people dying are the ones taking the meds. There are SEVENTY conditions which cause people to test +. Many are listed right in the test kits disclaimers. The entire list can be found at Helpforhiv . com

The reason the tests have no standards is that you need a direct isolate of a suspected pathogen in order to compare the tests to and receive the "gold standard". This has NEVER happened with "hiv"

Top Scientists Ask Medical Journal Science To Retract Original AIDS Papers

    December 9, 2008

a British investigative journalist has shown that Gallo's claim was based on last-minute alterations to documents...includes a copy of Gallos handwritten changes to the article,a letter from an electron microscopy expert indicating that Gallos samples did not contain any virus,& a letter from Gallo to a researcher verifying that HIV could not be purified directly from human materials.

  • EVEN GALLO never found a this alleged virus in any of his aids patients. They also have Montagnier ON CAMERA admitting they never isolated.

This has effected my family too. You better start asking questions. A good place to start is "The Other Side of Aids" available on google. Helpforhiv also has a lot of links and other videos.

  • @mykoolaidtastesfunny Are you, by any chance, in the Bryant family that was featured in the "Blood Brothers" video produced by the Discovery channel? I'm a hemophiliac and 30 year survivor of HIV and would love to touch base you. -Barry Haarde

  • @barryhaarde No I am not. You may want to check out wearethelivingproof org

I don't think there are any hemophiliacs represented yet. Thanks for the tip about the Discovery video. I hadn't known there was one. You may want to check out

on youtube. She's an orphan adopted from Romania. She's the only "hiv+" kid in her state to have survived to adulthood.

  • Ryan White was so brave. I wasn't alive when he was around, but i wished i knew him. People were wrong to treat him like they did, but I'm glad in the end they accepted him and treated him like a friend. R.I.P. Ryan Whiteee.

  • This is a really nice tribute. Good job!

  • I too lost my brother a Hemophilliac to complications from AIDS. I am very familiar with the Ryan White story well because it was also my brothers story. We grew up knowing who he was.My brother died in 1991 at the age of 23. Thsi is a beautiful video I made one for my brother as well.

  • he will always be remembered by me! besides my mother who passed away 9/17/07, ryan is my hero

  • Hey fruit! There is science and there is faith. You believe in science, which is a form of faith. If that is where your belief is, fine. But don't put down other people who find comfort in God or whatever else they choose to believe in. The power of belief and faith is tremendous.

  • im sorry you are too closed minded to handle the world as it is.

the TRUTH will set you free.

science is the truth. the bible is not.

  • explain how everything that you see in the bible is happening. you can't...cause God will set you free you ignorant little bastard.

  • God Bless him and his Family. He was a magnificent boy who did not deserve to die at age 18. He stood up for what he believed in. God Bless Him

  • God Bless Ryan & his family. Such an amazing kid. We love you Ryan!! He has such strength and courage. He showed the world that anything is possible. We can all learn from this amazing child.

  • something just occured to me...in all the Ryan videos you see his mother and sister but never his father? does anyone know why?

  • Ryans dad didn't have much to do with him except pay for child support. Read his book. and you get the whole picture.

  • Srry i put 208 i meant 2008

  • Oh my GOD he died when he was 18??? so if he was alive today on may 22 208 he would be 36???? im only 11 and Im really touched R.I.P to Ryan White.

  • yeah he would be 36.

  • this was a very sad video, and the song was great for it, i never knew him but see maybe couple clips on tv in the 90s,and it seems its alwasy harder when a some one young passes away.this video is a great reminder of that, thnks.

  • Thanks

  • A cure MUST be found!! :( God bless to all who live day by day with this and many other life threatening illnesses.

  • I remember seeing the movie protrayal about this guy. Lukas Hass played Ryan White. Sad and powerful movie..

  • Hey Stingray...Did u know him? It's a shame we lost him so soon in his journey! He sounded like he could've taught everyone a little more about LIFE. God Bless.

  • No I never knew him. I wish I did. I just remember his story on the news.

  • Oh, just wonderin, cause i live in his house in Kokomo! Their names are nailed into the front pavement. My neighbor tells me stores of Ryan.

  • lol u cant even say story's right i highly doubt it unless u put pictures up to date on yt or somthing

  • Well, the stories are right! I'm friends with Ryans cousin on Jeanne's side of the family and he lives in Cicero. He & i got into some real in depth conversations. The only thing i hate the most is that Ryans family disowned Kokomo, thats were Kokomoans first came about!

  • The Sadlers? I went to school with Ryan at Western and lived in neighborhood and know the house. Need to turn it into museum. Cool about names. As for Kokomo, we were scared of death and thats all we knew about AIDS...death.

  • Can anyone tell me what the opinion is of the townspeople in Kokomo, NOW?

  • Very nice video. Excellent job.

  • nice pictures in this video. good song too. nice job

  • thanks

  • Awesome video! Excellent choice of song!

  • Thanks for good words.

  • Beautiful song choice for Ryan

  • Thanks
