@heavyboxes Haha, I only meant Cohen and Clayton have a physical resemblance. Nothing related to their respectiver talents. Though I do think Bono messes the song up by singing here.

Still, yours is a pretty harsh statement. They're both good at what they do. They're completely different, and yeah Cohen is far superior at songwriting. But calling U2 a bad band is pretty unfair to them. Cohen (as a singer) couldn't take Bono's place at a U2 show. They're still better than many bands out there.

Leonard Cohen got ripped off by his manager while he was in a Buddhist retreat for about 5 million, his life savings. That is why he has to go back out and tour. He never wanted to be a singer, but ended up one. Thanks Cohen. Starting with Ballad of the Absent Mare, Cohen hid the real meanings of his songs, so u could try and figure them out. His songs all has spiritual references in them, since then and probably before. But now many are double entendres. (spelling)

I am a big Cohen fan and appreciate U2's music also, but this wasnt to my liking at all.

I found it was not blended well . It came across like an awkward attempt at adding u2 samples to a Cohen performance. Like a first attempt at a mixing board. It didnt flow well and they didnt compliment each other.

The original is a brilliant verbal, vocal, and musical experience. This left me wanting.
