  • This video is the reason that I discovered your work. Just great. My wife grew up in Juneau, and when she finally drug me up there this past summer, I DEMANDED that we go to the JUMP Society Film Festival. Had a great time, thanks. You guys are awesome.

  • @zucchinivolcano Thanks! Glad you made it to the show!

  • only 75,000?!?! lol

  • hilarious =) your guys' comedy style is great =)

  • Oh the irony... bitter sweet irony.

  • You guys are awesome!

  • Sarah Palin "ACES" forum on returning oil revenue to per barrel instead of percentage of profits, another attempt to BUY BACK ALASKA (but how about all those "campaign contributions" to remodel Senator Ted Stevens house, Congressman Don Young Bridge to Nowhere (Don Young's land) and 7 state legislators?) who will buy back the bribes?

  • Where do I send my $15? or $30? Excellent idea.

  • $10 million? I thought the price on legislators had dropped since all the convictions... I'd say $500,000 would get you the entire senate. Thank goodness the governor is incorruptible....not like that other guy we got rid of (no names....)

  • Im with you.

  • niiice

  • cooool! nobody knows that this is the starting of a new political movement. every nation in the world will buy back their representatives.

  • Good luck.

  • YES!! POWER TO THE PPL!!!

  • sad but true

  • Where's South Franklin Street, exactly?

  • Adscribe, South Franklin Street is in the heart of downtown Juneau. If you do a google search for "South Franklin Street Juneau" you can learn more but it's basically a mix of bars, gift shops and our apartment.

  • Amazing, fellas. Fan-freaking-tastic.

  • Thanks Rebecca!

  • You guys are great.

  • I gotta say those hookers are not giving themselves the value the should, they work far harder than our legislators.

But this is pretty awesome, I'd gladly mark that box, if I thought I could buy back Alaska from the Oil, Mining, and Timber "industries".

  • Next time I apply for my PFD I'm just going to have to write it in if the option isn't on the form.

  • Er... and what's to prevent legislators from taking special interest payments on top of their citizen-donated bonus?

  • Dollerhide,

I'm pretty sure our legislators would never do that, they're very professional.

  • I am an Alaskan who doesn't take a PFD check, for ethical reasons of my own, but to buy back the four horsemen of the apocalypse I'd gladly give you 15 bucks.

    Well done.

And I love the Raven in the background putting in her 2 cents.

  • Dawn, why don't you take a PFD check? I know a handful of people who don't accept them and it seems sort of odd. I bet you could do better things with the money than the state. How about starting an annual scholarship fund or donating the money to a soup kitchen each year?

  • awesome!

  • Thank pitbull, glad you liked our proposal!
