A real shame that Rod wouldn't be part of the faces reunion. Mick did a great job of stepping up to the plate, but at the end of the day, if the original singer hasn't got the decency, for the other band members and fans, just to play a few gigs at least, then the whole thing is a pale shadow of what could have been rods shot at a raw band come back. A crying shame he didn't jump at the opportunity!

When I first clicked on this video..and saw no Rod ,I was inclined to click away.But sheer curiosity got the best of me so I stuck around. this dude may not have done as well as the Rod of old but he did so much better than Rod of today would.Why do you all think he's singing all those old standards these days? he couldn't hit these notes any more than Plant could hit the old Zep notes.it's no knock on either of them.It's just that time is a bitch and catches up on every last one of us!

Rod Stewart couldnt sing this today unless it was slowed down and in a lower key......and I have to be one of Mr. Stewarts biggest fans....He probably bowed out of the reunion to save the embarrassment. As the original recording of this song demonstrates, The Faces were [sometimes] capable of achieving the musical magic that eludes most bands. Unfortunately, their magical moments were very few and far between. All of which might have been different if they hadn't disintegrated due to the fact that Ron Wood left to join the Rolling Stones (where he has contributed next to nothing musically), whilst Ronnie Lane left to become mostly ill, and Rod Stewart left to become mostly an ARSEHOLE!
