It does sound a bit flat when the sopranos are reaching the high notes. We sang this song for all-state 2-year college choir this year at the Texas Music Educators Association Convension. Yeah it is flat... the high notes are a bit flat, overall very good job.

they did it well, but they are bright and they started pretty round in the beginning, they just didn't hang on to it very long. we're doing this song. we JUST started learning it and we sound better...but i go to a school that's very well known for having one of the best music programs in the whole state (: haha we're excellent!

we did the same song at the music thing in muscat oman, there were schools from kuwait, pakistan, saudi arabia, ethiopia and tunisa except we had a lot more people so it was a lot louder and we did it faster

wow that was amazing! we sang this last year for our all county and the runs werent nearly as precise. but we also only sang it together as a whole 2 or 3 times before concert. i dont know how much practice yall had but that was sooo good.

Haha I'd forgotten I'd posted here. Anyway, I dunno, listen to the girls' first "God", it's now been a month since I've seen this and I'm on a different computer from before, and it sounds offish. I'm sure its something like the rendering from video to internet or something, cuz you guys do sound awesome.

This was my fave song, the way we did it, a girl and a guy had the opening verses as solos, and I was the only tenor who could do it confidently by myself. Good times.

No, I agree. At around 1:40, there is more than just one soprano note...there are about three. Not everyone can hit those notes.

We did this with Andre Thomas as well in the Oregon All State Choir in 2006. Dr. Thomas is amazing!!
