Well I have 4 AK47's and 2 AR-15's and no government, no matter what unsonstitutional laws they pass, will never be able to take away my god given rights without taking bullets themselves from my guns. The US government has no constitutional powers to regulate or ban guns in anyway. It is nowhere in the constitution for them to do. Actually the second amendment forbids the government from infringing on that right. The federalist papers are very clear on us keeping the government in check.

If you want to make a difference in society why don't you start/join a civil rights union in order to protest and raise awareness on serious social issues such as poverty, lack of health care, attacks on fredoom of speach and religion, etc.

Last year in the UK, a crazed pest control officer used his legal (work) gun to shoot dead a cop, in a house siege situation. The gun was similar to the Mini 14, i.e. a .22 calibre rifle. Try telling the cops family these guns are harmless, as you assert.

A pest control officer is not a cop, but a person employed to deal with vermin. They are allowed to have a gun to shoot vermin. The actual cop who died was armed and wearing a bullet proof vest, as he was a firearms officer, who are always called to gun incidents. He mistakenly believed the suspect would hand over his gun, and was covered by other armed cops, who had guns pointing at the suspect. Unfortunately the bullet hit him above the edge of the jacket, and was deflected downwards.

Great video. I am choosing Ron Paul in 2008. He made the point that the first thing FEMA did in the wake of Katrina was to try to take guns away from people who needed them to protect their property in a crisis. They did little else.
