  • Wow, That is awsome. Im down with that. Im trying Z brush for sure.

  • hahah fucking lie like rulix36 said.. this is never your first.. you know too many techniques for that beein your first model Indecom... anyway very nice

  • This isnt my first in general, like i said, its my first model with zbrush 3, i had been using number 2

  • you tricky bastard ;) ok got it now... very nice sculpting methods.. im doing zbrush myself.. but i sometimes suck at human anatomy :S need more practice...

  • youtube is great for that, lots of instructional videos on here. Also check out some anatomy charts and whatnot all over the net

  • indeed... thx for advice mate ;)

  • Great book in your local book store,,,Greys Anatomy. Exellent reference material.

  • it looks like its simple to use zbrush.. but i think im wrong...

  • damn nice man

  • fucking lie

  • Do you mind telling me what you are talking about before i remove your post?

  • I think he sayid its not ur 1st

  • Yea, he messaged me, it's all good lol

  • he means, this is clearly not your first model - people's first models are things like a deformed fucked up sphere not this. you are lying.

  • I said it was my first zbrush 3 model, as in the first model I made after switching to zbrush 3. Not counting what I made in zbrush 2.

  • I was just telling you what he meant =O

  • how many polygons was this?

  • not sure, somewhere around a million

  • well damn my first zbrush model was a circle with several other circles all around it

  • Very nice^^ Since I picked up ZBrush I don't really even use Maya 8.5 for character modelling anymore lol. I loved the way you rocked the masking tool to get all the fine details. Keep up the good work

  • The nice part is this is a simpler program which makes better looking things faster :D He does do a good job, though

  • WHAT THE..

I'm answering a post, not just postin damn shit!

  • seriously your first model??

  • i think he means first model in zbrush 3.0 but he's used zbrush 2 b4

  • kk ty:)

  • if this is true...congratulations

  • for what are those black and white lines/mask you used?

  • it's for marking a special part of the model, so u can edit just this marked part.^^

  • it's a marking-tool. so u can edit just this special part which is marked.

do it with ctrl + leftclick.

  • WHAT THE..

I'm answering a post, not just postin damn shit !

  • may i ask whats the purpose to making zbrush models or creatures because they dont animate or do they and i was wondering if you can import the models into real life video footage like camcorder recordings

  • They do animate, but not from within zbrush, zbrush is for modeling. for that other stuff, animating and adding to video you need to look at other software.

  • the thing is by having another program like maya or 3ds etc. zbrush is very great for making ur char look realistic and apply normals maps and everything to a certain mesh u were sculpting its like basically making a model in a POLYGON modelling program then exporting it to Zbrush and sculpting it in there and apply it (im not gonna into details) but generally its used professionally all the time like for the Game GEARS OF WAR so in this 3d app just expect to make greatly detailed work

  • I have Max 9- I am assuming that a tool like Z or L brush would increase the poly count?? If so, how do u avoid that to where it is animate- able?

  • The reg paint deform tools in Max is quite similar except the whole 2.5 D concept...and IM sure other things but I am trying to figure out how Z will work for animation and rendering purposes.

  • how do you make it smooth

  • um can u post a vid on how u made the head model? i just got zbrush and im struggling to make a head of my own and a body

  • I downloaded a simple base mesh. you can either start from a sphere, use a base mesh made in another program, or download some offline.

  • what exact programs did you use to ake this

  • Pixologic ZBrush. search google.

  • nice you're using masking pretty good, I've made my first sculpt without masking :]

  • ur freaking good!!!!

  • hes dam ugly

  • Haha, yea, this is an old vid, he's really, ummm, bumpy. Hah!

  • what is what you do when you do that black marks like in lines way, I know those are line-masks, but, how do u do to resalt those marks, to make them seem more like a deep wrinkle??

  • great job but please SOMEONE MADE A JADE RAYMOND 3D MODEL!!!!!

  • Dude, his chin has a six pack.

  • thaz never ur first^^ dont lie haha ^^

  • The best

  • LOL! I'd like to see that

  • holy fuck that's crazy

  • that was nice and i wanna know what those tools are as well.

  • Awesome modeling! What is that tool where you draw lines and then convert them into wrinkles? I'm unfamiliar with that?

  • He is using the masking too. And yes, I realize that you posted that 2 weeks ago, this is just in case you haven't found out by now. :)

  • sweet thanks for the info =)

  • OMG plz send me a link or a video or something i cant even do low rez head's and i want to do this for a carrer!?!?! thankfull im only 14 but omfg i wnat to learn how

  • wcould you get Zbrush at a store, or do ya need to buy it online?

  • you can download it online or have it shipped, but yeah i think you have to buy it online. i rather have stuff download online so that its basically instant and you dont have to wait for it to get to your house.

  • Good work!^0^ 5/5

  • Pretty cool, also good job making it all visible in on small screen size. Wanted to invite you to sell your models on Exchange3d

  • Thanks for the offer man, but how would i go about doing that?

  • I cannot post the URL here, because Youtube does not allow that, but just ad dot-com to the exchange3d and you have the URL :) And click on "sell your models here" in the upper right. (I know the site isn't the most beautiful website, but I am working on the new design now).

  • Nice job..

I really need to learn to use masking when sculpting.. :P

  • Thanks, i still need to learn more tho.

  • nice vid ;)
