  • Hey guys, I'm a Marine 4 years in now, do we need it no. But hey you gotta admit it does feel good to get it. I know you feel do I deserve this? Hey you get to do something and you've done something and been places a lot of those people will never know about or see. Do you need it know but hey it feels good and it's the kind thought of the people.

  • I got a shake from a general when i got back to oki from iraq followed by "By the way the island is on lockdown indefinetly" 3 months laster we were allowed off base talk about sucks!

  • WTF thats a little over the top

  • @tboy221 shut the fuck up, how is it a little over the top? The put their lives on the line to protect our country.

  • @RyanMcL17 im a US Marine and been on 4 deployments and i say police cares and fire dept all that shit and its a little over the top. come on do they really need all that attention

  • @tboy221 They don't need it man but that's not the point. if they needed it, it wouldn't be special because it would be expected.

  • @RyanMcL17 you know that the very reason for such homecommings is from the veterans. every time i leave and come home we are greeted by veterans of other wars. mostly the vietnam vets. i believe its because the vietnam vets didnt get the warm welcome they deserve and in fact they were spit on. veterans welcome eachother home out of support and to show that someone cares. i felt that small welcomes by supporters was good giving me faith that imn doing something good. fire dept seems like too much

  • Very Nice remember the Warriors Watch Group and sign up a soldier for a heros welcome.

  • Magnificent welcome from one group of brave men, NYPD for another, the US Marine Corps. Should've been like that for 'Nam vets, in was in the US with the British Airborne in 1970, spoiled student bitches like both Clintons mocked and reviled those who endured the privations and terror of war. Fuck'em.
