  • Praise God for Washer, this man is a truly anointed brother! God bless you Paul, keep telling it like it is :)

  • What this man is not understanding is that some people do not believe the "scripture" is correct. I could say that exact same thing he did, but from my point of view. I could say, "you're lying when you say you believe in God. You are not a Christian because deep down, you know there is no God." But I'm not going to say that. Because I don't think that way. I expect you to respect my beliefs, just as I would respect yours.

  • @hannahthehiccup "Everyone has the right to their opinion if they can defend it." - Ben Franklin

  • deep down inside, i know there is a god, despite truly not believeing it, despite there being no evidence to support it, despite there being enough scientific knowledge to explain the universe without one, despite not believing conflicting and downright stupid claims by ignorant men 2,000 years ago, and despite the fact that he sends hurricanes, famine, plague, earthquakes, war and death through his love. and deep down i know your a pastafarian. i know you know the fsm is real, but u run away.

  • In 2007 when the pope made his visit to South America he said this, "Indigenous populations, he said, welcomed their European colonisers because they were "secretly longing" for Christ "without realising it".

Washer seems to have the same tactic, try to dismiss the argument before it even starts, stating the person already knows the facts. I get the impression that he thinks we know of the Christian God at birth. Which clearly we do not.

  • @SpeaksToDragons The Pope is controlled by the devil.

  • @NobodySpecial85 1.1 billion Roman Catholics are controlled by the devil. Okay and your proof?

  • truth fears no investigation. If your word is true than there is no comment that me or anyone could make that could disprove it. the very fact that this comment probably wont be approved is proof that you know deep down its not 100 percent true

  • Yep,

Romans 1:18-32 and it also says unbelievers are without excuse

  • I agree, my brother his a self pronounced atheist and he only became that after he was shown that we are children of God. I became a Christian and he became an atheist, very true what you say brother Paul. He only pronounced it after knowing there was a God.

  • By denying the Way, atheism renders itself a lost cause.

By denying the Truth, atheism renders itself a false cause.

By denying the Life, atheism renders itself a dead cause

  • Hey everyone. SHUT UP AND JUST WATCH! Don't you see? People argue and bicker and all that does is keep people away. If you are so smart and have such a valid point, take the place of Paul Washer and make your own videos and create your own following. Let us see how well that goes.

  • You saying I can’t not believe in God because the bible says so? I want you to know that means nothing to me at all. It also shows that your belief lies to you. I know what I’ve bean told about god, but I don’t KNOW anything when it comes to rather he is real or not. I don’t expect you to approve this because apparently you don’t think your religion has enough credibility to hold up to youtube comments. That also shows the level of your faith in Gods straight.

  • here´s another atheist. i do exist, i am real. your imaginary god is not. and deep inside yourself you know that. that´s why you´re trying to convince everyone else of that bullshit. just to feel a bit more comfortable in this world. you´re just afraid of death and that there´s no life after. that this short existence in this sick world is all we have. but you don´t need to deal with that, your god´s ways are not to be questioned, right? well, surprise, god hasn´t created the world, humans have.

  • I assure you my assertion is as honest and true as any when I say I am an atheist and I do not believe there is a God. For you to deny that is an intellectual lie itself. There is plenty of evidence that there is not a god and no evidence that there is. In fact, the very bible that you try to use as proof that there is, is the exact evidence atheists use to prove that there is not. How ironic is that.

  • He could tell me that till hes blue in the face. See, I dont care what scripture says because you havent proven the god that would give it any authority. You may believe that I believe deep down, but I dont.

  • "Atheists, you aren't really atheists, because it says so in scripture"

  • HI PAUL, I LIKE YOUR WISDOM. WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF "DANIELS TIMELINE" PT 1-12 ITS GOT ME THINKING??

  • Humm, does this man keep the Commandments? Does he keep the 7th day Sabbath?

  • Invert the words so that "who is Jesus" becomes "what is Evolution", switch atheist and Christian, switch "scripture" with "scientific literature" and "God" with "science" and you get the same argument on the atheist side. Final sentence: "You must acknowledge the overwhelming scientific evidence of how groundless your beliefs are - you must."

  • Deep down we know there is a God? Prove it, tell me who I am inside, deep down. I'm atheist, and there's no god or gods that I believe in, or yern for, or any of that, I just don't care how the world was created, or why everything is here.

  • What is may be contributing to the disconnect, is that a believer is putting himself in non-believer's shoes and because he cannot imagine what it is like not to believe, he concludes that the non-believer also believes. Second guessing others can be very misleading. 1:05 Paul's conscience screams out to *him* "God". And he interpolates that to "you". Paul cannot "run away from it". The non-believers may entertain the idea (especially if they are ex-believers) but they evaluate it differently.

  • There is no need for even allowing comments because we already know what is coming. Watch the video and come up with your own conclusion, bring a friend to watch it and discuss if you like...if you hate the truth, that isn't our business. If you love the truth, go proclaim it to whoever is nearby and not to swines who trample on the word of God and attack you verbally because the Holy Spirit is convicting them and they're rejecting the truth because they choose not to let go of sin.

  • Paul Washer is on point. The simple truth of reality is this: You have two choices.. death or submission to Christ. Either way, you will bow before Him. Also, your opinion about this is irrelevant.

  • @annatherandomer if what you're saying is true, then in this case, please read "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis

  • As a Secular Humanist and an Atheist I'm not surprised by his words. One of the reasons that the ranks of the 'non-believing' are growing faster than any faith is the fact that those of the faith seem to have such a monumental lack of understanding what Atheism even is. It's not a long definition to grasp.

The fundamental flaw in his statement is the assumption his scripture is correct. This would be the same book that can't agree on what Jesus's last words were.

  • Yea debating with atheists has no purpose, deep down inside they know theres a God, but they seek so much worldy knowledge to comfort their withdrawing from him, they want to justify their unbelief , they want to justify sin, and not have to answer to judgement..

  • @Belovedtita25 I am an Atheist and I can honestly say, without any doubt in my mind.. I do NOT believe in God. I think you refer to the christian god, as opposed to zeusm mythra, krishna, or any of the other 3,700 gods that there have been in recorded history. I know this comment wont be approved.

  • @Iamthegreatification So very not approved.

  • @Belovedtita25 Yea debating with theists has no purpose, deep down inside they know there is no God, but they seek so much dogma to comfort their withdrawing from reality, they want to justify their belief , they want to justify ignorance, and have to answer to a judgement.

  • @Belovedtita25

You are so sure of your beliefs that they defy investigation?

  • I have a query about this. At the start he says we should proclaim christ rather than argue him. I'm not against proclaiming Christ by any means, but in all honesty there are certain arguements in favour of Jesus and also against attacks on Jesus that if I hadn't seen or read, I would never have called out to him. I think that to deaf ears, debate can open their hearts to the possibility that Jesus Christ is lord, what do you all think? I could be reading Paul wrong here though...

  • Paul is talking about Romans 1:20,

'For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.'

What comes through in the speech of professional atheists, Hitchens and Dawkins, for example, is not their disbelief in God, but their hatred of the idea of God. 'I will not serve.'

I recognise it in myself too, before I found Christ.

  • I really don't understand things like this. I should know how I feel and what my opinions are. It is unfair to call me a liar when I say that I don't believe in your god. Would it be right for a Muslim to call you a liar because you don''t believe like they do? A Buddhist? Taoist? Catholic? Methodist? Jain? Ba'hai? Are the 3/4 of the world population who aren't Christians simply lying about their disbelief? Surely not. These convictions are honestly held.

  • this is so true.

because you take self proclaimed atheists like Chris Hitchins or Rickard Dawkins and you quickly discover that its not so much an unbelief in the God of the bible they have.

If that was the case they would let it go or let the issue roll of their backs.

No what they have is a real hostility toward God.

As if they know he exists and they know his word is true and they cant stand it.

they dont want it to be true so badly that they have spent decades telling themselves NO GOD.

  • @Remogogy It is hostility toward the CONCEPT of YHWH, not the actual God.

  • "The Bible is proven true through mathematics."

1 Kings 7:23 says that pi is exactly 3. So yeah, measuring any circle's radius and circumference disproves the Bible.

  • Paul Washer is Paul Washer. Nobody Special is Nobody Special. I am me. You are you. We are we. The world is the world.

  • praise God :)

  • ccc

  • A former atheist I think Mr.Washer really hit the nail on the head with the talk of desiring to be an autonomous creature and its foolish futility..

  • O.o is all I can say to this video.

  • O.o Thats literally all I can say about this video.

  • i am an atheist, and God knows that i am. :)

  • I agree! Paul is right yet again. You cannot kick against the goads and hide behind the wall of atheism. He'll still hold out his loving hand of grace to save you.

  • Hmmmm.......Paul is saying that there is No such thing as an "Atheist" It seems so BAFFLING!? But anyway!, this man is a very GOOD preacher!! We all need GOD!

  • Funny how along the way the world has come to believe that Christianity=tolerance/humanism/peace. "Did Jesus take the Saducee by this hand, and the Pharisee by the other and say, "Let's just all put our differences aside and focus on what we have in common.'?" I come not to bring peace...

  • he's right. and even athism can't be possible because there is no such thing as beleiving in nothing. Athiesm beleives in chance, evolution; well what do ya know, that's something. may not be God, but it's something. And he's right, otherwise, why would they spend so much time energy and breath debating and hating those who do believe?

  • @YESHUAISMERCIFUL An atheist doesn't not necessarily believe in evolution, so your statement is false.

  • God doesn't believe in atheists.

  • @ObsidianTeen Atheists don't believe in God. I'll side with the opinion of those who actually have a voice.

  • I didn't have room on the previous post to tell u I appreciate the video's, and the reply.

    God Bless!

  • AH man, brother, please don't do the "comment pending approval!" thing, our God is bigger than that.

Also, Paul can stand up to any anti-God YouTuber who thinks by knocking him they're dethroning God.

Let this be the place where those comments come to die?

Be loving when you use the sword, but use it. We're promised it will Not come back void.

So let them come w/their comments & fail in attempting to dethrone the God that threatens them. The fact that they feel a need to, spells out their fear

  • @TheSevnthWarrior Let those who watch, watch as they want.

This is my upload and I make the rules. Don't like it? Then press 'x'. Want to comment, but I won't let you unless I approve it? Don't get your feelings hurt, go somewhere else.

I have little tolerance for children who post up foul languaged comments. When someone disagrees w/ this video, but stays away from derogatory words, I allow them up. The majority is just childish. There is nothing they're saying that dethrones God, only disgust.

  • @NobodySpecial85 < Fair enough, I guess.

I do know the types u refer to.

However, I think God's commandment concerning the Great Commission, forces us to be more readily aware of our responsibilities, the first of which is to love.

And Paul makes it rather clear in his letter to the Corinthians that amongst other things, love is "long suffering", & unfortunately for us, sometimes that means tolerating childish "lost" people.

Now, I am Worse than u are concerning this, but I'm not on YouTube?

  • @TheSevnthWarrior what verse is he talking about there??

  • Amen

  • You only let your ideal viewings get approved okay I see you like to disciminate.

  • @nextgenvids Yes, because discriminating makes me grow wings and fly.

  • @NobodySpecial85 Okay so it wouldn't hurt to see other peoples view on your comment page if you now your word of god is true see you have no respect for other people and there ideas which is important to society but your moral standards says it wrong. You probably won't approve it anyway.

  • @nextgenvids Yes, you're right. I only have respect for your comments. Forget everyone else. ;)

  • what if the atheist doesn't believe in the scripture?

  • @LovexandxRage He/she burns in the lake of fire for all eternity.

I'm not trying to be 'gloom & doom' on you either. Scripture clearly shows that if you do not believe on Jesus, salvation was never intended for you in the first place. It's only intended for those who believe.

  • @kanmoreti Okay, I'll approve of it. ;)

  • what is the scripture reference for this premise?

  • @rmcgov00leeuedu I'll list his quote and corresponding Scriptures. "You know enough about the one true God to be hostile toward him" - Romans 8:8; John 3:20. "And you know enough about the truth of the one true God to seek to suppress it." Romans 1:18-21. "Your heart, your mind, your conscience is screaming out to you, 'God!' Romans 2:15. "..and you're doing everything in your power to run away from that." Romans 1:32; 3:10-18; Ephesians 2:1-3.

  • i dont agree at all with what he states but as a person i like his humility.......its refreshing

  • I agree and have said it for years: There is no such thing as a true atheist. God put it in everyone to know he exists. Atheism is nothing more than a rebellion against acknowledging God. Don't get me wrong, some people actually believe what they are continually convincing themselves of that goes against what they already knew from the beginning.

  • Paul Washer is the man!

  • Ah of course, censorship haha!

  • @ReligionInTheBin Love it, huh?

  • If it's true that the Truth is somehow written on the souls of all people then what could be a more important message for humanity than God's Word and His Law. And yet he only gave it to a small group of men in a very small geographical area. In 2000 years it has spread, but not really all that far. about 1/3 of all people identify as Christia (including RC's, CoE and Liberal Evangelicals).

What I'm getting at is why are there not any Chinese gospels or Inuit or Peruvian etc.

  • You believe not the power of God, therefore you see not.

    Christ Jesus bless you,

    John

  • @doireallyneed1 Christianity is not a western thing, it started in israel, the west just took it upon themselves. Also there are millions of chinese christians!

  • @MrHappiness777 There are also bazzillions in africa! God is Awesome!

  • Let us grant one of Paul Washer's arguments. Let us say that we were 100% certain there is a God. Paul Washer claims that God only loves him and a few other elect, and everyone else is going to hell. One must ask himself, "what are the odds that the religion I was born into just happens to be the right one?" What if I were born in India, or in Europe before the Reformation, or in ancient Greece?

  • @mpattersonva

It doesn't matter what religion you're born into. You must be born AGAIN.

John 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."

  • @NobodySpecial,

I don't think you're understanding my argument. Have you ever once in your life questioned that the religion you were brought up with isn't the right religion?

  • Yes.

...and then I became BORN AGAIN and was no longer a part of any religion.

I did not grow up as a Christian. I grew up as a child under a hypocritical, abusive dad. It's amazing the LORD still saved me.

  • Do you think you'd still be a Calvinist Christian if you had been born 1800 years ago in central Africa?

  • Christ Jesus chooses everyone. I did not choose Him.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

    Christ Jesus bless you,

    John

  • @mpattersonva

It doesn't matter where you were born or what period of time you live in. God chose us before the foundation of the earth.

  • Respectfully, I completely disagree. It is a shame that the only reason that you don't believe that I am an atheist is because a book tells you that.

  • WOW... an actual respectable disagreeing comment. I will keep this one up; most negative feedback I get, from this video, is full of insults.

    @we1rd1

The Bible is proven true through mathematics. Please do a google search on the following:

    - Numeric English New Testament

    - Bible Numerics

    - Ivan Panin

Hope your eyes get opened to truth. Mathematics can NEVER be destroyed. 1 + 1 will always = 2. This separates the Bible from all other religions.

    Christ Jesus bless you,

    John

  • I agree, great perspective on the Truth.

  • best video ever

  • I totally agree with this video!!!

  • you say alot of stuff. it's hard for me to follow. but overall i agree with what you're saying. only agnostics can exist. atheists do not though

  • what about agnostics? :-P

  • An agnostic is a-okay in my book. At least there's hope of salvation for agnostics. Atheism is just flat out ridiculous and willfully idiotic.

Think about it. Even if you knew 1% of EVERYTHING in the UNIVERSE you still wouldn't be capable of conceiving a god. 'Atheism' is an excuse for those who hate God... because deep down inside they know He exists.

  • That's the reason why atheists attack only God directly, and no other deity.

When's the last time you seen millions of atheists gather against Buddha, or Krishna, or Allah?

Deep down, they sense God, but reject Him.

And if they keep it up, they'll get rejected back.

  • Amen!

  • Funny how you disabled the ratings :)

  • I also micro manage the comments. ;)

  • Awesome video!

You make some excellent points, and it's all true!

  • I'm a christian but what about Muslims and Budhhists ?Are they considered to know that YHWH is the true God too ?

  • They don't believe in the true God of the Bible so they are not correct.

You must understand that ANYONE can believe in YHWH as the one, true God, but scripture is clear that the only way to the Father is through His son, Jesus Christ. John 14:6

  • Can someone who's born a vegetable know the one true God, oh brother in Christ?

  • Helen Keller was blind & deaf and she still knew the one true God.

I have looked at your profile front page and you are a perverse & wicked person! You snake and FOOL! Do you not know the Lord has placed me to find out disgusting mouthed people like you!

The Lord says in Matthew 7:20, "Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them."

Repent ye, and believe the gospel! If you do not you WILL be cast into the lake of fire forever!

    The Lord rebukes you!

  • So, even though I don't believe there is a god, I'm still not an atheist?

Why do we have the term atheist?

  • Because you're a theist. ;)

You have your own set of beliefs and doctrines that are not true. You choose to believe in a different God other than the one true God of the Bible. Therefore you are a theist... just in a different religion most choose to call science.

  • (For future reference...)

A religion is a set of beliefs and matching rituals centered around the worship of a deity (or more than one). Hence the word Theist, from the greek Theos, meaning "god"

Science is a set of beliefs based on falsifiable and reproducible experiments, done under laboratory conditions, published and peer reviewed.

No deity-worship required. i.e. Science does not qualify as a religion. Let alone as theism.

    Hope this helps.

    Peace.

  • @jicque

Two things (Well, three...): 1.) Thank you for making plain the definition of religion. Few Christians understand this and quote invariably, "Relationship - not Religion." 2.) Science, as a rule, MUST agree with the Bible. If conclusions derived from an experiment or test disagree with what the Bible states, trace back through the scientific method and you will find a false assumption. 3.) Science today has been hijacked to deify man, and is therefore a religion.

    Grace and Peace

  • To answer this we can look at Isaiah 7:15-16. This verse is a prophecy of Jesus Christ 500 years before his birth. The text indicates an age where Christ would "know enough to refuse evil and choose good". Therefore, there was a period of unavoidable ignorance for Christ, (e.g. birth to age 1). In the same way, those who die in infancy or are mentally handicapped and cannot "refuse evil and choose good" are not condemned, for they truly don't have the capacity to understand nor plot sin.

  • That is why there are chosen... God's elect.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

This is why I also believe 100% that ALL aborted babies are saved before they are murdered.

  • @NobodySpecial85 Are you serious?

  • @lazyteen123 Absolutely.
