For ur info sometime in January 2011,an employee of SMRT UPD took his very young daughter to play at the high voltage maint pit. It was only known after a public complaint.How SMRT didn't realised a kid was in the Restricted Area,just like the vandal nobody know abt it..Is the Security so slacked.How abt our safety.The guy got away with just a warning letter

Think the government need to learn how to act "above the line" that is expected in every leader. Be "responsible", "accountable" and take "ownership". Instead I see them acting "below the line", giving "excuse", putting "blame" and "denial" of facts.... This is vital for being a good government. :(

Yes, there's an issue with security with the latest incident, but to link to to an actual bombing would involve a systemic failure on the entire country's infrastructure. Which is too much to conclude based on one instance.

hey, i believe the security in singapore has been scrutinized and recognized, but not rectified. there are security cams setting up (in progress). on the other note, being a PAP supporter for its contribution to the public, i believe this statement from our minister is a sign of irresponsibly.

also, i believe it takes courage and ball of steel to do the right thing for the public. sadly, now i have the fear of see-ing my parents taking public transport.

as a singapore citizen or anywhere in the world, security lapse discovered in gray area in singapore and have been address, recognized and rectified is fine i believe. but busy pointing fingers putting blames on another party as a minister of home affairs. which i believe ministering the security structures and framework in singapore, are not doing its job when circumstance like this has gone public. :(
