@kingOFkush99 The males of this species have a brown or orange "mustache" beneath their anterior eyes, you can see this clearly 3 minutes & 15 seconds into the film. The females do not have this marking, as you can make out 3 minutes & 10 seconds into the video, the female being the spider on the left.

Most spiders do not have very much sexual dimorphism, and you have to look at the Palps in order to positively sex a spider.

It is A LOT easier... But a few species of spider don't have much size difference between the sexes, so it's not always reliable. I actually breed jumping spiders as a hobby, so I really need to know when a spider a male and when it's a female; if you get two of the same sex together it's likely that one is going to eat the other.

This is such a great video, jumping spiders are so expressive. I really felt involved in their little courtship, several heartstrings were plucked- and I'm still wondering if they ended up making little spider love. Probably better that we didnt see that though, retain some dignity and give the close to the little drama a nice bit of ambiguity

@mairead027 Definetly a Loxosceles Reclusa, I recognized that spider immediately, we have plenty of them here in Oklahoma. I got video of a mature recluse and a video of a small one that isn't fully grown. I do a search thru my apartment on a regular basis, knowing these spiders are possibly hiding under something next to the walls. Both recluses that I filmed were found in my apartment a few months apart of each other, but I like to check often to make sure they don't become high in numbers.
