Besides playing them, memories are what I love about classic/retro gaming. My stepfather's nephew (my step-cousin?) had a Bally Astrocade. We would visit them & play all night. Also, my father played in a lounge band in Atlantic City. In 1981-82 I spent the summers there. He would take me to the 1st set of his shows. We lived in a hotel next to the casino & would leave 30min early & play Frogger, Popeye & Donkey Kong in the arcade of Resorts International Hotel & Casino. Great memories!
I spent endless hours playing games on the Astrocade. Still have it... learned basic programming on it. It had an extreeeemely well-written basic programming manual that even a 9 year old like me could understand and use!
