I have a 30 month old( 2.5) who does this too.  It's pretty incredible.

@Rallie07 - It's awesome to watch them do something that they love. He is now about to go into his second season playing for Little League. He's almost 5 and they are moving him up to play with the 7 & 8 year olds (my almost 7 year old is not so happy about that). It's a great sport, but we have learned from our 2 older ones (who play travel) that if you over do it, you can burn them out. Let them enjoy it and that's when you see them shine!

Thanks for all of the comments. So nice and positive. He is finally old enough to play. He's the youngest on his team, but does very well! I agree with mary10112623...if they like it, get them swinging. You can't teach the love for the sport, but you can certainly squash it.

LOVE IT! Our little guy starting swinging, hitting at 18 months and now at eight years old is one of the best in his league. Parents, if they like baseball getting 'em swinging early! This is great :) What a cute little guy...

@CaDoJaCa I am glad to hear your son still loves baseball. Do you plan to post the recent videos of your son...it would be neat to see how he progressed? It is possible that my son (who is 3.5 years old) may play in an indoor league over the summer. You should check it out for your son to see if there are any opportunities for him.
