@Drakon6956 FASA ripped-off Dugram and Macross and Crusher Joe series for their 3025 battlemechs, aerospace fighters and vehicles. They got sued pretty hard for doing that as I recall too. Bye, bye Battletech!
@BluTrilobite Battletech now has plenty of its own stuff and a much bigger existing fan base. So thats really far in the past now, what with Mechwarrior Online being announced. Hello, Hello Battletech!
@hrbdg LOL yes, well, I do know FASA did clean up their act but they still got hit. I used to play and I liked some of those mechs a lot. However, I didn't know there was still a fanbase and a new game coming, neat.
@BluTrilobite Actually, they initially DID have rights for the work...but through a legal fail on FASA's part (stupid legal teams), Harmony Gold was able to blindside and one-up them, negating their distribution rights. I haven't seen a lot of the new stuff, but I still tend to miss Classic Battletech.

@BluTrilobite A settlement is established between Syouji Kawamori and FASA which are the author of Macross.
Syouji Kawamori is in charge of the illustration of the Japanese edition battletech.

コンバットアーマーの名前はプラモ発売時の後付。ソルティックだって、ラウンドフェイサーとは言ってなかったしな。ミサイルポッド付ダグラムもヤクトタイプだなんて言ってなかった。
