in wetlands this theme is used on grim batol,for some unkwon reason i like staying there mounted in the edge of the corner and stalk wetlands from up there.

oh, come on. NO place in WoW is desolent. Not even Desolace! (Irony, much?) I mean, you go into the most uninhabitable environments and there are somehow oceans of wild animals without end to harass you! There is no open-outdoors area in WoW where you can run in a straight line for 10 seconds without passing some kind of mob by. (excluding roads) that's a problem I've always had with WoW, they overdo it with the eccentric amount of mobs.
@breastinspector2 i am PARTIALY with you because that's classics beauty (my opinion) i don't know english very well but will try to explain :
1 - in classic for instance you have mulgore with : Bloodhoof village , Red rocks , Thunder bluff , dwarven digging site (i forgot it's name) and 2-3 additional landmarks :)
2 - in wotlk for instance you have over 15 landmarks with different type of mobs ... that in some way suck man think of it you have no vast amount of landscape only "landmarks" ...
@breastinspector2 which in my opinion is not that real and good in classic areas you had much more ... terrain ... more real like atmosphere whatever we have our own opinions :) and your opinion is ?
Could it be the music inside the entrance of Onyxia's Lair too? Usually I have a good memory for game music but I can't place this one. My WoW account expired several months ago so I can't check :\

In my opinion,classical zones are better than TBC/WoLK,not because of nostalgia but because they have this "mystery" feeling.
For example go on Wetlands and climb in a hill,then overlook the place,its just too mysterious!

Exactly the point, most(<=key word) other zones are crawling with life but the wetlands well... not so much. its so deselent.

Are you sure The Wetlands is that deselent? I mean, I see a lot of life crawling around.
When ever I step off the road, I get attacked by savage crocs, mongrols, murlocs, and oozes.
Not to mention, there are a lot of "critters" in the wetlands such as frogs hopping around.
