Let me explain it in terms of Jewish Kosher Law. Pigs are not suitable for human consumption because Pigs are know to eat, their own vomit, unhealthy babies, feces and almost anything else. Same with Dogs and Cats and many other animals.

They are all G-ds creatures and what is natural to them is acceptable. Jewish Kosher Laws only apply to Jews.

Hey great video but I have to agree with the guy below. All or atleast most animals are slaughtered in the same way so nothing is stopping them from getting larvae.

I agree that large slaughter houses are morally challenging and that they are by no means 'clean.' But- I dont understand why this is limited to pigs in this video- chicken and cows are breed and slaughtered in the same way- flys can certainly lay larvae in those animals too- why just pigs?

All the food that comes from the waters (fish or seafood) that have scales on them are halal.

The only way it would be haram, if the fish or seafood was dead in the water, than brought up to consume. Than it's haram. And also, like I said if it had no scales (like for example an octopus.. doesnt have scales, so it's haram.
