Coincidentally, I found tFinal Fhe antasy VI OSV Disc 1 thing at a bookstore near me. And it was totally worth the purchase. It's an import, it seems.
Especially considering that Kefka's theme is listed as Cefca.
In this one, once you hit play and look away, you almost can't tell that the music is hampered by the limitations of mario paint, and thus is born a perfect illusion and complete immersion in music. The point is to be at a concert in front of an orchestra and programatticall be actually experiencing the music, rather than "I'm in the crowd watching an orchestra" You've perfected this. When I navigate to similar songs by other people, The immersion is instantly broken. Keep it up.
I have to hand it to you sir, One of the problems i have with most mario paint renditions is that during musically stressful/complicated parts people tend to mishear some notes and get them wrong, like I believe youre the only one on youtube to get 1:23 correct. The other notes, although quick and usually not dissonent, on other songs stick out like a sore thumb to me. Also you manage not to neglect the rhythmic parts, which most pianists or composers tend to be lax in. Grats. Perfect.
@smud08 Hell yeah, very good rendition. Accurate to the very last beat.
The difference with mine is that I try to maintain the original soundfont as much as possible because I think that limitation is what makes music on Mario Paint so unique and entertaining.
TomBobBlender, for instance, takes it a step further and uses the original SNES version of the composer, which has more length restrictions, a smaller tone and tempo range, and no sharps/flats. Personally, I think that many restrictions just makes most songs sound way too drab, and the challenge to recreate something in that way isn't fun or entertaining to me. The point, though, is to see what you can do with limited resources.
Actually, at the time I made this, I didn't have a lot of free time at all. I'd only spend an hour or so at a time working on it, so it was a project that took a while - not something I did in one sitting or even in a day or two.
This is definetely excellent, but I prefer when it is done with a slower tempo as it makes creating a viable sound more difficult and more interesting to listen to. That said, you utilized your choices quite well.
Yeah, I should really credit theEvilGrimace for the idea of super high speeds (aka "dickspeed" according to KarmaJolt =D) to get more sounds and varying volumes for each instrument. I do like to make complex songs that are super high speeds like this, but they are harder to watch for the general audience. It's more fun for most people to actually SEE what's going on. =D
Earlier, I just got done watching and favoriting someone else's video of this song on mario paint, and then I found yours. Ive got to say, this one's a LOT BETTER!! Im replacing that favorite with yours! <3
You should do the death waltz or "U.N. owen was her" on Mario paint. if you do, I am totally Subscribing, Liking, and Favoriting.

Insanely high tempo allows for it to sound smoother than most MP compositions yeah? Anyway it's a masterpiece. Best take on the song I've heard.

Can't you just change the time signature and then decrease the tempo?

nope, it would be too slow if you tried to do it like so...
