i just out this from a guy of the street. everthing works and look brand. i have the same specs he said except the ssd. i paid 350 how much do u think this is worth because i think it is worth 350 in the year 2012

I think that the design of this MacBook is just amazingly... amazing. That's something that I think they should re-introduce or something, I don't know but that just looks amazing. I was almost even thinking that I'd buy a PowerBook G4 just for the design, but now that's not happening...
Like the newer MacBook Pro's with a Matte screen, they should replace that with this design.

I actually didn't have the money to buy one when they first came out, but had the money this year to buy a new macbook pro from apple, but instead bought a used 15" macbook pro like the one here, from craigslist because I love the way this one looks better, and the specs weren't that far off from the new ones. i'm loving it!!!
He's right. The SSD's on a MacBook Pro is just an insane upgrade to the standard HDD. But you're looking at about $455 for an OCZ Vertex Series 2.5in 120GB SATA II MLC. I guess it's worth it in the end, but that's a lot of monies for a hard drive.
By the way, I hope this doesn't bother you but you seriously sound like Obama. lol
I've got the exact same model, the only difference is that I have the 2,6ghz processor. I have been thinking of going to SSD, but I made the bad decision and went to the 640gb 2,5" 5400rpm WD hdd. Incredible storage, but twice as slow as the original 7200rpm HDD. Too bad for me.
But since you talked about the ram, I've been reading about the possibility of installing 6gb ram into our models, do you know something about that?
I need 6gb because I also use windows 7 64bit prof for special progrms
