  • ummmmmm....... what kind of doll is that ??

  • @jewel63875 Resin soul mei

  • I am so novice that I don't even have a doll yet lol. TY for this! I was looking for cheats to make hot outfits!

  • That's a cut skirt

  • i bet that would make a cute short dress or top for an SD

  • When you showed me the back of the skirt I was like lol. That is so something I would think of. And yes I found it helpful.

  • Not a stupid idea at all. I am a seamstress and I sew outfits for my dolls all the time. I think that for beginners or young people this is an EXCELLENT idea. Cool vid! Cheers!

  • I've just used this, in part, to make my girl's dress. The result is fantastic! Muah hahaha I love cheating in sewing XD

  • i wear an xs >:/

  • Don't buy them new. Try thrift stores and yard sales. Try the trim section in fabric and craft stores. Sleeves, socks, and scarfs are a good source also.

  • It looks like a childs skirt haha

  • BRILLIANT thanks for this! :D

  • such a wonderful tip, and a great looking dress too, CONGRATS ON THIS DISCOVERY!

  • when i make clothes i use socks or shirts ;)

  • Awesome tip! I also found that good will has some serious material finds in the kiddie section! I hauled an armful of clothing for 20 bucks! ^_^

  • i found it very hlepful thank you so much :)

  • Good idea for beginners! Though, that's not gothic lolita. . . I might try it out on my BJDs, though they're admittedly tinier.

  • thats such a good idea im a horrible sewer and i luv lacy gothic dresses for dolls but i cant really buy them so now i have a cute dress for them that is like the coolest idea ever XD

  • So, did you just sew up the back with one straight seam, or did you add a zipper or something? Just wondering, since this is such a great idea that I will probably utilize and just need to know if I should buy stretchy material (if it just slips on) ^_^;;

  • @XNyxX i juyst sewed up the back there was elestic left in the skirt for the top and it just slipped on

  • @XNyxX this is a neat idea!! i might try it out thanx :)

  • yah tink i can sew dis by hand???? not good at using sewing machines..

  • i just heard a cow o.o/// hahaha i love aim ! :D

anyways this is really helpfull... i really wish that my doll was a girl now haha XD

  • Oh my gosh! That moo-ing at like... 1:39... Was that your AIM?! Cause mine does that too~!

  • Just asking... Why would you get like... a million dollar skirt from hot topic just to cut it up... x..x

  • Wonderful Idea, thanks for sharing it^^.

But my boy already shakes his head when I sew him skirts, he would definitively try to grab the kitchenknif if I started sewing dresses for him.

  • THANK YOU SOO MUCH! that is way easier than wrestling with my sewing machine! ^^

  • @LumMcnamara

    no prob!

  • This is a great idea! I am a "real" honest to gosh sewer and I take people clothes and remake them into doll clothes all the time. I'm glad you shared your doll clothing tip. Sewing can be intimidating to learn and this is such an easy way to get beautiful results, thanks for posting it.

  • @delbelcoure

  • its a good idea i dont see why people will shake their head against your idea xD i mean if you dont know how to make a pattern and this works better for you, just do it =3 is awesome, the final result is the same =3

  • if iwer u i would cut it and sew it bac up to make it shorter, so it looks more lolita looking

  • Ily. ^v^

I may be getting a dollfie dream soon, and since i can't sow...

  • THIS IS SO AWESOME! I am totally stoked. Thanks so much for posting this! :D

  • awesome idea! and xtra small stuff is on sale often. i use socks with characters on them as tube tops and dresses. just cut the foot part off. i am off to the skirt section at the thrift store!

  • @mirrorwalk Thamk you i'm glad i was of service ^.^

  • I like the idea.

  • really cool idea!i do this all the time!

  • even tho it's not gothic nor lolita, it's a very neat dress, I just feel bad for the actual human skirt tho xD

My boy (and future boys) may end up crossdressing lawl XD
