  • Fun solo!! I got the 2nd part in 8th grade for a slo during solo and enseble, and the 3rd part this year as a freshman.. fun peices!! Keep up the good work!!! :D I'm only fourteen though...

  • I wish our French Horn players can play as good as you xD Great video

  • Chicka WHAT happens at 6:54?

  • Good speed, nice lip trills, love your tone and you obviously practice around 3 hours a day :D Nicely done, almost perfect! (I heard one wrong note in the 2nd movement :/.)

  • @gummiandr Do you think someone who is a lower age/talent should practice for more than 30 minutes a day? I'm really worried about my solo and I hate to botch on this beautiful player by bringing up myself.. BUT I WANNA SOUND LIKE THIS!!! I am a Freshman at Sandusky High School MI and I got this solo chosen for me, but the third part only. I did the second in eigth grade... Recommmendations>

  • @Sparkelztehpurplecat If you can handle it it's fine, don't jump from 30 minutes a day to an hour or 3 hours :). You should always play as long as you can each day until your lips get stiff. If you're playing the 3rd movement i suggest that you practice each section until you feel it's well played and then play the whole movement throughout. If you are tired after practicing the sections then you go do something else and come back to it later the same day or the next. I hope this helps :D

  • I've been playing horn for just about 13 years (started at 8, currently 21) and this kid blows me out of the water. XD

  • @thisisntagoodname i know its random and doesnt pertain to the video at all but i love ur username

  • The accompanist was terrible, but great horn playing!

  • im playing the third movement for a solo and i thought i was pretty good at it...now i am humbled.

  • @aprepsnightmare same with me man...humbled.

  • Every aspect of your playing is outstanding. If you have a teacher, give him my complements, as you seem very well coached. I especially enjoy your tone and your music expression/interpretation. You play Mozart with a bold approach that is risky but you do it very well.
