Hey another tip is that if you cant do it this way, i didn't know this till it happened but if you use the laser sighter for the APC on the second level of the US invasion i believe. Every enemy killed by the APC is counted as 1 for you as driver. So light up some enemies with the laser and eventually you'll get it. Worked for me :D
