  • Hi I'm Leonard Nimoy, and i wear a turtle neck and blazer......like ..a...Boss!

  • I would never go swimming there.

  • It's not a lake! And it's not pronounced 'lock'! grr

  • SPOCK!

  • I miss the 70s!

  • *throws a pokeball*

  • In Search Of... really needs a DVD release.

  • its pronounced CASTLE URKAT Leonard :)

  • Hello im biggie smalls

  • that picture by the surgen was later found to be a fake

  • love these retro mystery shows. nimoy makes it even better!

  • These shows REALLY captured my imagination when I was a kid.

  • well it was about that time he bent down looked me square in the eye and said..............i need about tree fitty

  • If it wasn't for leonard the monorail would have crashed! Thankyou leonard...

  • Long Live and Prosper Nessie. Long Live and Prosper

  • "Hello; I'm Spock..."

  • also, after 1400 years, wouldnt it be dead? or is there more than 1?

  • can't they just take a submarine into the loch or is it too shallow?

  • insert creepy intro music here

  • I downgraded my Netflix to just the Instant Plan. I might even get rid of Instant. If they'd change up their documentaries with variety like this stuff I might stick with it. If I'm gonna rent DVDs I might as well to Blockbuster Online where I can just swap the DVDs for free DVDs in the store (and games too) And not having to put up with mail times if I need to swap a scratched DVD or game. GOnna suck when brick and mortar stores are gone.

  • Thankx for posting! Love this. I went to Loch Ness,it's beautiful there,& adore my ancestral home, Scotland, but I don't think Nessie's gonna show up~maybe she's smarter than we are ;)

  • I Find This Difficult To Masturbate To.

  • Spock you're cool!

  • Hahahaha "it gave me such a queer feeling" it's also funny because he's a catholic priest.

  • @CaptinCorky18 it isnt funny at all, that term is only used as an insult around northern america, carried on over seas but not too big over seas, it means weird it isnt fvunny at all.

  • I remember this show! I saw one where they were in search of Hansel and Gretel! They could never find any evidence of their existence!

  • 2 people.....I dunno. Make up your own %&#! comment, huh?

    THumbs up me!

  • I live in Minnesota where there are more lakes than you could paddle across in a year and some are large and very deep. For as much water as we have, we have no stories like these. Therefore I believe that there must be something to the story of Loch Ness. What...only time will tell.

  • i would not hav dee guts 2 rome around in dee loch ness river! wat if nessie bites u on dee legs! dee people dat rome around in dat sea hav big time *****

  • I LOVED THIS SERIES AS A KID......

  • I LOVED THIS SERIES AS A KID......

  • Love this guy

  • "I'll kill you Leonard Nimoy!"......"The clown has no penis...."

  • "Hello; I'm Leonard Nimoy...."

  • @magnatron2010 and i make documentarys

  • SPOCK!!! (no, i'm not a trekky, i just noticed)

  • To answer the "this is old" remarks. Yes, this show was broadcast during the mid 70's to the early 80's. It was based on two documentaries that Rod Serling narrated. Serling was the original slated host but he died unexpectedly, leaving Leonard Nimoy to fill in.

  • This is freaken old but interesting

  • Holy shit this is old. I'm thinking... 2002?

  • he needs about tree fiddy and then he'll come out

  • i saw the monster of spock ness

  • .................... was this the 1960s or was

  • It's Spock! I believe now!

  • the head of the loch ness monster looks like a elephant trunk

  • its a duck, i think its quackers

  • its a duck

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW BUT I NEVER SAW IT UNTILL NOW LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

  • lake erqart lol

  • FACT

there was a monster in the loch at one time

  • FACT

the loch ness monster is nothing more than a old viking boat..

    Let me tell u

if this so called monster only comes out when there fog!! Right

fog causes bubbles and heat under the water causing old viking boats AKA nessi too pop up out off the water!! Its a fact people

  • @kazzSquire no dumbass its an unproven theory

  • @MoundainX2B3J4

yes my theory would be right..... Dumbass :P

  • @rigomrtsfx

    Hmmmm

    yeahh U go first :P

  • @kazzSquire

Its a proven theory that your an idiot :-P

  • the photo take on April 1st (april fools day btw) was later admitted to be nothing more than a plastic submarine. A bit sad that it is considered the best evidence.

  • what a beautiful lake !

  • Omg!!! IT'S SPOCK!!!! =D

  • There is no Loch Ness monster. But I wish a real creep of a monster existed in that

lake. No film that I know of has responded adequately to the suggestiveness of a big

Plesiosaur inhabiting the Loch and swiming in its cold water, even becoming a threat occasionally. Nor has any production in general manage sucessfully to depict Scotland as land of mystery. Even though Scot -land probably means "land of the dark", from the greek "scotos" which means darkness. Mystery should inhabit darkness.

  • 2:04 ,"hello im spock"

  • I love this show! the weird sound effects make it for me

  • that guy does a lot of "came upping"

  • I grew up in north central texas and loved watching this series during the late 70s and early 80s.Its a shame they cant produce a decent TV show like this anymore.

  • maybe if we drained the lake we could find it its just a thought

  • @baseball756 thats a really good idea but how do you drain a big lake like that? lol

  • is it easy to get in the myth hunter buissness

  • 2:04 "Hello, i'm Spock."

  • @hobbert69 hahahahahahaha i thought the same thing

  • So what is this show actually called? And freaking scary music and voice by the way!

  • @ilyjoesphadam The show is called "In search of..."

  • @ilyjoesphadam You find it scary on YouTube? You should have experienced this show on a 13" Zenith television with tinny speakers in 1978 at the age of 4. Then you'd know just how scary it is!

  • Mr. Nimoy's pronounciation of "Urquhart" is a little off. "It's "Urkut" actually.

  • i reckon with modern digital technology we should have a pretty good shot at finding nessie lol

  • Guess the famous photo is now officially a fake

  • UrrrKwart!!!!

  • Love these types of shows.

  • Lol, he looks like Spock from Star Trek!

  • @PeterRoeder31

    he is!

  • It is Spock. Search "Leonard Nimoy". He said his name at 2:03. I can't believe you got two thumbs down for saying this. I don't get people sometimes. Your probably young enough that you shouldn't be expected to know that name. Its not like you grew up watching the show, except for random bits on cable now and then.

I never even heard of this show before. Isn't it "the most"? lol jk.

  • Am I implying with my comment, that I didn´t know that he has played Spock? I don´t see anything in my comment, that suggests that I didn´t know that, and I did know it. I just said: "Lol, he looks like Spock from Star Trek!" And FYI I don´t give a rat´s ass even if I get -200 thumbs down. This is web 2.0. Different rules are applied here, and I understand them.

  • I gave your post a thumbs up. Don't know why people thought it was a bad post.

  • Ha.... Nimoy, you freakish yid.

  • The guy at 4:40 sounds like Mrs. Doubtfire.

  • ohh, sorry :S ....anyway .... this song is very funny !! heroesss! i think the loch ness monster is real. :) i believe in u little nessy !!.. one day i'll go to england ! waitt meeeeeeee......

  • Why didn't they just beam Spock to the bottom of the lake to check shit out?

  • It's sad how time treats these very good documentaries. All the photographic evidence used to back up the creature's existence when these shows were made have turned out to be frauds or mistaken identity.

  • My god! How did you get this show!

  • hahaha... this version is really seriously ! jumm.. the 80's times.. incluyed a the typical sound of 80's,.,, long time ago..... ure grammpa told me a history my sweety... that start when.....

  • @pinkpunchbubble

"the typical sound of 80's", huh!?

Actually, the Moog Sythesizer (behind most of the music on all In Search Of episodes) came out back in the 60's.

  • Its older than that, like late 60's or very early seventies.

  • Its 1976-1982. I know because I was 6 years old in 1976, and remember the very first airing was the Loch Ness Monster episode.

  • I liked this version and the newer ones with Mitch Peligi. I think the downfall of the new ones was that they were an hour long so they had to put more then one topic in it. The old ones had one topic so you can spread them out longer over more seasons. Like them both.

  • lol

  • i remember going to school and me and my friends would tell the girls in our class that we had the lock ness monster in our pants.

  • looool

  • LMFAO me old man usta scare the fookers outa me as a kid with stories about nessy,.... here he usta ask the australian girls if they'd had a Scotish Fillet befor, if they said no he'd ask them if they wanted a scotsman to fill it, had alota good old scotish tailes he did, Funny old bugger he was Geez i miss him wish i could tell my kids them tails as good as him

  • lmao!!!

  • dig this. i remember watching this show when it came on back in the 70's freaky ass shit with a huge disclaimer at the beginning of show. lenemo baby.

  • I belive that Nessy is like Bigfoot, a myth. Something many people have seen but still unexplainable, thats what make her so fascinating. And both is peacefull and has never been claimd to kill a human

  • I believe there is something in the Loch, but if it hasn't attacked anyone then it's more then likely harmless unless provoked

  • i beleive that nessie is a part of a certain specie of predatory amphibians who prefer deep water that were discovered by the nave in the 1900s on sonar and they called them "bloops" and that there was once a underwater passage leading from loch ness into the north sea and during the construction af the A82 highway they used dynamite to carve through the mountains and this collapsed that passage leaving some of these "bloops" in loch ness and scince the north sea is their breeding grounds

  • There is nothing but fish in the loch.

  • "Ruins of castle r- quatt !!!" It's pronounced uk-hart. Douche

  • 1 wold you go in loch ness or 2 chicken out cause u know its a myth

  • I would like to believe in the loch ness monster and i asume most other people would too. The reason i have trouble is there have been so many hoaxes. I also find it incerdibely hard to belive the best photographic eveidence is a silhouette and it is impossible to estimate the size of the neck and head because there is only water around it so it could easily be a small creature.

  • They can't do shows like this the way they did it back then! The narrator had the perfect voice, terrific soundtrack, also, something about that old "grainy" camera footage that gives it a certain mood...

  • The narrator is Leonard Nimoy, a famous actor who did great roles in awesome movies & TV series like Star Trek and Transformers the movie (1986).

  • I knew who the narrator was, that was just my way of phrasing it!

  • I also remember this when I was like 6 or 7. This was the very first episode I seen and then became hooked on the unexplained to this day :)

  • @Frostbyte380 i too also remember this when i was 6 i watched this and like u became hooked in trying to find out the truth or not

  • i remember being like, 7 and watching this with my friend Mary Beth Gager in my front room. XDDDD

  • is he the guy from startreck

  • Of course he is. That's Leonard Nimoy, a famous veteran actor.

  • Oh, man. I remember watching this show when I was a kid. A&E every night around 7 or so EST. I watched it before bed. That might account for some of the nightmares, haha.

  • Woo Hoo SPOCK!

  • Yay! Go Leonard Nimoy! Live long and prosper!

  • Leonard Nimoy! Awsome!

  • hehe i love watching these, oh lenord u fitty XD

  • dude ! Spock!!!!

  • Great! This was the best one of the shows. It also was the very first one broadcast.

  • I love that alarming music at 1:36 to 1:43 :D g8trman77 you are a brilliant blinding light from heaven haha ^_^

  • Thanks.
