I have to jump in here and defend the country for their actions. Alot of people automatically jump to conclusions when they see Islam doing something this horrific. As a British police officier i can assure you he wouldn't have been. He was 16 at the time of the offence with the 13 year old. There is absoloutely no way he'd have got life in prison for this in these circumstances. Point me to one case where a british teenager has been given life for underage sex. You clearly have no clue about the British legal system to make such a remark.

I don't remember knowing anything about the laws of my country at the age of 14 so how on earth can you expect a 14 year old child to know that gay sex is illegal? The lawyer must be approved by the Islamic State quite conveniently. The fact one of them was only 14 when the arrest took place is enough to prove how flawed this case really was. The Iranian penal code the government shows to the world says you cannot be executed for any crime if your below the criminal age of responsabliity when the crime took place. Yet this case which was approved by the supreme court prooves what they tell the outside world about their legal practises is nothing but lies.

A good lawyer would have argued that a medical exam on it's own is not enough to convict someone of commiting sodomy in an Islamic State. Four witnesses are required to confirm it took place within the states borders and a medical exam on it's own should not stand up in an Islamic court. A good lawyer would have said "Proove they done it here in Iran, your borders aren't even closed or secure" It's innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.

They noted that once they got the photos out and western media picked up on the story the Iranian Government conveniently added more charges.
