you have to insert a micro sd card into the acekard. so you can store your games on that.

Actually yhe GBA port was replaced by the DSI shop when you purchase a DSI before october you get 1000 free points for it..I aught to know...I was the 1st guy to buy it at 12:01 am lmao

okay well my psp team started on the dsi, since we sold enough pandora batteries to buy dsi's. We are working on a gba emulator for the dsi. The dsi is not as versatile processor wise as the psp, but im sure we can do something. If the ds and ds lite had the software to play ds games it will be much easier to make an emu, but if they used hardware it will be quite difficult

exactly, if you did look it up, there is NO gba emulator, theres some snes and sega ones out there, but not gba, the alphas we ran only ran at about 30% full speed.

Acekard 2 definitely will not work on the DSi -- you have to get the Acekard 2i

Thats not the U.S, version of the DSi because if you look at the video around 3:45 look at the top screen its not english. he got it from japan and tested the acekard

AceKard2 and AceKard R.P.G Version are definded as "Piracy Chipset" Problem in DSi. A Video on youtube show that the screen will dark and piracy sentence will appear.

After few weeks DSi Published, AceKard Have published AceKard2i, Correcting the chipset to able to run on DSi

Although they have same functions as AceKard 2 and AceKard 2i, but AceKard will support DSi and AceKard 2 ONLY CAN RUN on DS/ DSLite

I may be too suspicious, but I think it should be easy to replace the DSi card inside with a DS Lite card, so that your DSi becomes just a conventional DS Lite with a DSi case. And it becomes easy to run an usual linker on it and make believe it runs on an actual DSi. Difficult to make a commercial product of it but it provides a good pub-shot.

You can't emulate GBA games on a DSi. It's just not powerful enough. Looks like you're outta luck if you want to play GBA games on a DSi.

If you're in it for the homebrew, I have faith in yasu's method. It apparantly works, but he hasn't published it yet. Which is smart since Nintendo would immediately path it. I hope he'll release it when the DSi hits the US market.
