As a Canadian, I've never found myself so interested in American politics as I am watching this man. This is a rare happening, in any country, that someone is running as a human being and a man of his nation instead of running as the typical "This is my platform - It will change - I will pretend it won't - Now a word from my sponsors" model.

Of course, I can't vote in the US, nor can I endorse, but watching Ron Paul has been pretty interesting so far.

I disagree with his views on educational aid. A lot of the schools are private and set their own prices on tuition. By cutting the aid to the students who want a private school education, you essentially leave students with $50k+ in loans or debt compared to $20-$30k debt per year.

I don't get where people think they are entitled to all this stuff. The government doesn't get money from no where. It takes it from each and everyone of us. No one is responsible for sending some dude to college at a reduced price. In fact, government helping students go to school is what increases the prices in the first place..

i never wanted to vote for a single candidate till I saw this guy ron paul. I live in Canada, and there's absolutely, well so far, no revolutionaries like him so... Ron Paul handled a tough interview very well and with grace. I appreciate the fact that he was invited to be on Meet the Press and express his views. One thing David did do right was allow him to answer his questions in full. There is no way O'Reilly would have allowed him to finish answering the questions this way, tough or not.
