All people have various amounts of fun depending on the individual religious or not. The only thought I've had on religion is that its all BS but never a judgement about the amount of fun a Christian has.
The city is way better than the great outdoors. I can walk one block and meet a family of mexicans, a family of arabs, a family of blacks, all in one place. I can eat burritos, smoke hookah, and drink 40's all in the same sitting.
I can also watch live action sports any time I want. The mexican kids and the arab kids play soccer everyday, and the black kids play basketball all the time too. I'm not trying to be racist, thats all true.

If I was an atheist. I would appreciate my life more because my time as a concious being is not eternal. There is no super good place or super bad place to go when I cease to exist for the second time. Since I only have this short time, I want to rape and kill and run red lights and hurt people for fun. However, I wont smoke or drink or do drugs in order to maximize my own health and happiness and will wear rubbers when screwing hookers.

@gregrutz Well I was only christian until I was 7. Thats when I learned about dinosaurs, figured out that prayer was baloney, and knew Santa wasn't real among other things. I always was suspicious about that santa character... also I never read the bible until recently 20. All I need to say it's a hypocritical book. But deep down I always knew religion was bull. And faith just scared the hell out of me lol. I like spiritual though... just take out religion/faith.

There is no perfect way to understand what happens i the world, people of all religions think that they are correct and that everyone else is wrong when you boil right down to it. Some religions may share a few thoughts but they are different in some way and they try to life their life as such. Atheism is no different.

North Korea is a communist nation with an official state religion and living god. It's not atheist. Communism does not equal atheism. It considers any non-state organization (from churches to book clubs) as a threat because only the state should control people's minds. That's not a denial of gods. Communist nations have alternately supressed or used/controlled religion to achieve this. China currently appoints religious leaders in China (that's not atheist).

Eternal life has anything to do with making people good.
