Well I guess we'll all find out in the end, now won't we. If you gay disapproving christians are so concerned about pleasing god based on your irrational ideology then keep on at it. You're beginning to have less and less support for you're hateful cause. Us gays and our supporters are out numbering you all more and more everyday. If you don't let go of your bigotry and hate, then you will soon find out that God has left you all behind. Well pray for you & god will listen. You can continue to p
People want what they want so they try to get same sex marriage legal. God made men to be men & women to be women. Not two of the same sex to be in a sexual relationship.
@convictPKlol That's just it, God did not create men & women to be gay. He designed marriage to be between ONE man & ONE women >.< & It is not that since I am a Christian I hate gay people, what I hate is the sin (being gay) not the person.
Being gay is a choice. It is choosing to live a sinful lifestyle. If one were to proclaim being gay it is because they are choosing to say yes to their flesh even if they don't want to be gay. If they said yes & accepted Jesus then they could have a renewed mind & heart & would begin to want what God wants for their life & marriage which is between 1 MAN & 1 WOMEN.
Ashton, "it's unconstitutional". Is Obamacare unconstitutional? Why are people looking to celebrities for their advice? Americas values are at an all time low!
There is a very large pedophile elephant that is hiding in the gay activist closet. Fact - Whitman, Ginsberg, Milk, I can go on and on, were all involved in pedophilaia. How about Sandusky out in Ohio, was he gay or a pedohile? Catholic priests ashamed to admit their homosexuality, abusing little boys. Are they pedophiles or homosexuals. I've yet to find a gay that well resolutely denounce NAMBLA.
Its very clear you're born gay, why? Well because if you HAD the choice to choose between balls and tacos, I'm pretty sure 100% of men would choose tacos, because boobies are soo great and squishy and lovely. So clearly, being gay is NOT a choice. Second, when you put your hand in boiling water, do you have the choice whether or not you want to feel pain? ... didn't think so assholes.
Words of Lady Gaga: "Cause baby, you were BORN this way" ;)
@bigdaddee111 Indulge in 'your' type of sex? Meaning anal? So straight people don't do anal? Homophobes are fucking hypocrites. You probably think they're perverts too huh? Why is it that straight men can walk into a club and have a women dance on their laps wearing no clothing, but when 2 gay men who have a real bond with each other want to have sex, it becomes a curse?
You stay locked in your house with your bible while the rest of the world lives on.
We are all going down. hate to say it but america is moving farther and farther away from Faith.you know what our country men had to believe that one day we would carry on.Now, lets be real about it. Homosexuals could never ever have any reproduction, do the math. Keep it real. If you could not produce children then? it was a curse. hmmm.gee..what do you think? bottom line, if you wanna indulge in your type of sex? Dont tie God into it and try to make it Holy.Unbelievable.but its my percpective,
@CaliChiefin it's not clear to you? he said he agrees with the religious guy about gay ppl being equal, said spiritualism should not affect are government, and the fact that prop 8 is even being talked about is unconstitutional. he's definitely against it. Most entertainers are actually. Gay rights should be supported.
Jesus never married. Neither did His Daddy. There's a name for both.
It makes no sense at all that non-sexual men should give marital advice. Not that anything religious makes any sense anyway, but I'd be suspicious of anyone who is so far removed from practicing something that they should be experts on the subject.
@Chelsea4President Well if you're talking about Jesus and his father...God, you're talking about beings who are supposed to be all knowing, so they would know a thing or two about marital advice...theoretically speaking...I believe in them, don't know if you do...so yea
@Chelsea4President Paul is a fascist? Really? Do you happen to possess or be aware of verifiable evidence to support your statement?
Just so you know, I expect none. Why? Because you're going to vote for the corporate puppet currently in office, so obviously factual evidence in support of your viewpoints are something you don't find necessary.
Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexuality and homosexuality. Even non-religious people know this.
The homosexual agenda is not good for anyone, including those who consider themselves "gay".
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have successfuly framed themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
Even if they are, it doesn't mean I'm worshiping them... I don't think they wanted people to eat candy or do an act of kindness on their "celebration day" XD I didn't know there was a "evil god of the winter" ! Does that make me a little demon? I was born in winter after all... jk :P Seriously, its not like people are worshiping those specific gods during those times of the year.
@bobdylan3366 That's just crap!! Homosexuality does exist- if you like it or not!! Just look at thousands of people that is proof enough!! And it is neither against nature nor against science!! Just let people be who they are love who they want to love. Your sexual orientation doesn't make you any different and people who think it does are just stupid, brainless and disrespectful!!!
I agree with Ashton Kutcher. XD I didn't see the obvious church and state dilemma up until now since he pointed it out. No offense to anyone who is religious but not everyone is going to go by a book that was put together by different people a "long time ago". I bet most of those who go by the book don't even know who Lilith is... js :I
I'd rather have a law that allows people to be happy and it won't hurt me or take away my rights, than to have numemours depressed or suicides going around.
@Belldandy722 i meant concerning Lilith. i know aboutit, but i dont necessarily believe it. and to your last sentence, i know there are many people that have issues in this world that i know i dont know about nor can experience. and in those situation, death is seen as and accepted as kindness. but it is my belief, since we as humans have the ability to change our character, and many things concerning that which is not tangible,as long as there is life, there is hope.
@Belldandy722 what im trying to say is that people shouldnt kill themselves. ik that people do and its sad. but a person needs know and understand that their life has value. i wish people would know and understand this sooner. i am a christian, mind you. and also, concerning church and state,if church and state were to be done correctly, and i dont mean the way they do things in the vatican, which i hate by the way, C&S would be quite plausible and do-able
@0893deuce Ah! That's more clear (: Sorry, you had to type out a lot for me to understand your opinion :/ I'm glad we're on the same boat on that one. Anyway, I respect religions. I love how people go all crazy about it & cry of joy. I just don't like it when people try to shove it down my throat. It infuriates me. I think at first it could be doable but after a certain point, I feel like something is bound to go wrong in that system as such and they would probably make us follow their religion.
@Belldandy722 thats a very plausible response. but please keep in mind though. i do not agree with homosexuality at all. i hate that in particular. i dont hate the people mind you, just that particular aspect. i believe as long as there is life, there is hope.which is why im against the death penalty. speaking bluntly, as a christian, i read many things in the bible that if i wanted to i could make a case for more contradictions. most people that criticize the bible(im not saying you do)
@0893deuce Haha! Thanks xD your response is very plausible too. I don't mind if you don't agree with it. Its YOUR perspective. I understand. I don't like people that are overly preppy but I don't hate the people ^^ Contradictions are found in almost anything so I'm sure you could. Some people even think the bible is evil. Its ridiculous if you ask me. Certain people just did evil and misinterpreted the bible :/ I find the bible to be very interesting though. I just don't follow your religion.
@Belldandy722 but for those that do, they look at it from a very idiotic standpoint. they dont consider history which dictates certain things. if you want to know what i mean ill be happy to elaborate. but they are so close minded they dont notice the more obvious things. they ignore perspective and times for the most part. oh and also i do not respect other religions. if you dont agree with an ideology that you have found faults in, do not respect it. for example, i do not respect the vatican
@Belldandy722 or the catholic church because i know how it started back in ancient babylon, and im also aware of the perversion that has been applied to the bible and the atrocities that they have been committing for over a thousand years. so if you dont believe something, and you know why you dont believe, and also no one has given you better reasons to believe, then do not respect it/them.
@0893deuce I see (: I grew up with Catholic Religion and I have to say, it has its good aspects too. I used to be very close to God but certain things happened in my life when I was growing up. It all just made me doubt him and here I am ^^" But I say he does exist. Stay strong with your believe no matter what anyone says (: I couldn't agree more with the last point you made.
@Belldandy722 but you see thats the problems with such things. there is always some truth in them. just enough to grasp a persons dedication. i could give a full history of the catholic church, but that would take a long time. im not saying that the member are evil(necessarily), but being honest and blunt, the doctrine of the catholic church is evil. since there is a general beief in christ in most denominations, there is a chance that the truth will be realized.
@Belldandy722 put simply, icare about a persons soul, not their feelings. this is why i can be blunt and not feel bad. and thinbk about this. CHrist WAS NOT HERE TO MAKE OUR LIVES EASIER. HE WAS HERE TO MAKE IT BETTER. WITH THAT IM GOING TO BED..I GOT SCHOOL IN THE MORNING BUT I WILL BE BACK...
@0893deuce Well that's you. haha I've heard all that before. I actually am forced to go to church every Sunday so no need to lecture me ^^ I never asked for him to make my life "easier" I used to always seek him for strength to help me get over certain fears and after so long felt nothing. What works for you might not work for someone else. Capital words XD alright, goodnight there mister! btw: I checked out your guitar videos on your channel but I can't hear anything :/
@Belldandy722 i dont know why..on fb they have sound but not on youtube :/....well im going to encourage you to try it again from a different perspective.how old are you?
@0893deuce Oh :/ Well have you checked your settings?Maybe if you re-upload them? :D I have been trying. Even though I forcefully go to church, I have tried reading the bible on my own. I love the Apocalypsis (I think its Revelations in English). Its really interesting (: I'm just 16. But seriously, I've tried getting back and I'm going to a Christian church. Its actually made my believes even worse. Not the religion but what my youth group leader had said. What they teach my group, I can't stand.
@Belldandy722 if you really are trying to live the christian life, then you need to distinguish between true christianity and false christianity, according to history and the bible.im going to speak bluntly. catholicismis not christianity. peter was never the first pope, and a vast majority of the protestant doctrines are paganistic in doctrine and belief. things such as christmas, easter, halloween, valentines day,and also a few others, should not be celebrated by christians.
@0893deuce I don't go to a Catholic church anymore. Its been years since I went to one. Anyway, now that you put it so "bluntly", I don't want to be a Christian ^^" No offence really (: I just want to be happy and have an enjoyable life. I want to be content and not in chains. Not saying that religion will chain me up but if being religious means not celebrating Christmas and not seeing my family members then I don't want to be part of that group.
@0893deuce You said: "should not be celebrated by christians".I don't know if I understood your comment in a way that was not expected of you. If I did sorry but that's what I understood ^^" But its not like people are going around worshiping an Easter Bunny if that's what you're trying to point out. Most people now just go and take their kids (or the kids go) to a park to hunt for eggs, eat their candy have a good time with family and/or friends.
@Belldandy722 no i dont mean that. thats a part of it but its not what i was referring to. the basis of ALL of those observances were originally dedicated to pagan gods. there is more than enough evidence in the bible to determine when jesus was born and when he died. and history dictates that christmas is reall dedicated to the pagan/evil god of the winter solstice.and easter is dedicated to the goddess of rebirth
@0893deuce Christ was NOT here to make our lives easier or better. The christian life can really suck! I say this as a christian. It's hard and potentially dangerous! God came to give us eternal life, not make our current bodily lives better. After all these bodies are but dust and we will return to dust.
@TheRawWord who said anything about our physical lives? and he did come to make it better. people think thing are going to be easier when we have christ. here is why i am right. if you live ou the christian life the way the BIBLE SAYS, AND OLSO HAVE THE LOVE OF GOD AND HIS SPIRIT IN YOU, THEN WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE?likewise, even if there is nothing to gain in the end, living the christian life out is still a sweet life. like i said, christ=life better, not easier.
Yep, in Britain church and state are one. The Queen is head of the Anglican church. But do you think she does anything? She doesnt. Shes a figurehead. Shes hands off. And thats why it works. Because the church is in the background not the forefront. America separated church and state and fragmented into a million lunatic branches.
@mrrpse3085 God isn't hate, he doesn't hate anyone especially his creations...unless you are suggesting that I was not created by God? Please do your research...there is NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE supporting the argument that people choose their sexual orientation. You have sex with women because that is what you are naturally attracted to, and thats fine. I have sex and fall in love with men because that is what comes natural to me, I never chose between mandate or woman, just like you never did.
@mrrose3085 Do you remember choosing your sexual orientation? Do you remember having a convo with yourself saying "Self, I'm gonna have to choose what gender I'm attracted to. Hhmmmmm...I think I'll choose heterosexuality. Yeeaahh, that sounds good!" Because I certainly don't remember choosing, neither does anyone else still sticking by this absurd and ridiculous argument. "I chose to be straight" or "I chose to be gay"....give me a fucking break.
@esanperez You're wrong. People do choose what their sexual orientation is. I chose to be heterosexuality because love having sex very beautiful, hot, sexy, and gorgeous women. People aren't born gay, because God Almight hates gay homosexual faggots and lesbians, and God wouldn't create something that he trutely hates. Homosexual is an obomination and is strictly forgbidden by all of God's laws.
In reaction to bigdroz about the stuttering moron argument :
Name : Ashton Kutcher
Education : Cedar Rapids Washington High School
Clear Creek Amana High School (graduated in 1996)
University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa (majored in Biochemistry
When someone is passionate about something they care about, they sometimes get caught up and stutter, it doesn't have anything to do with intelligence.
he is just a stuttering moron. lucked out with all those looks, women swooning, millions of dollars for very little acting talent and probably a ten inch wang too and yet dumb as a box of rocks. I'll tell you what, I'd rather have intelligence than..... (weeps) who the fuck am I kidding!?! I want to be a dumb, rich, good looking guy with a big wang and not enough brains to feel bad and worry about stuff too!!!
wow, that is not a Christian minister... to all believers and non-believers, please don't accept that what he is saying represents the Bible at all...
@carlasue88 true, true, but I think that alot of influential people (Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, John McCain for example), even the President, aren't against gay marriage for religious reasons (or that's the impression I got from interviews) and they're by far more influential. I'd like to say that I have no discrimination in me, so I think that Gay marriage is good and right, and I'm not religious,
Prop 8 isn't unconstitutional, but homosexuality and same-marriages are. All sins are not only totally unconstitutional, but also immoral, unethical, wicked, evil, sick, unnatural, perverted, dirty, unholy, and ungodly. Even the bible says that homosexuality is wrong as stated in Lev chapter 18 verse 22: If a man sleeps with mankind as he sleeps with womankind, then it be death.
@PUMKINMANforever All you have to do is to look all around you to see the variety of countless diferent life forms around you from people to animals, plants and everything in between and that somethine had to create them all because they couldn't have created themselves so some higher power which does exists had created them all or they won't exists. Therefore, God exists since it was he that created everything in the creation.
@mrrose3085 Flawed logic. nature does not imply creator. Science makes gods superfluous. In addition, designer clause leads to infinite regress and therefore has little explanatory power - bad theory. Further more, creator nowhere implies christian god. Why is Homosexuality evil?
@PUMKINMANforever Homosexuality is evil, because it is not natural, is immoral, is unethical. Therefore homosexual is evil, wicked, sick, and immoral. No is born gay.
@mrrose3085 Homosexuality clearly occurs in the natural world, therefore it is natural. It can be observed in most vertebrates and almost all mammals. Evil is the deliberate disregard for, or an active attempt to sabotage the welfare of others. How do the private activities of consenting lovers fall in this category?
@PUMKINMANforever No. Homosexuality is clearly limited to the entire human race. No one is born gay. Being a stupid gay homosexual faggot is a choice. Either somone choices to be gay or not. Therefore homosexuality is a chosen lifestyle, so no one is born gay.
@mrrose3085 Ignorance or Obstinate denial of evidence. Unbiased scientific inquiry proves you wrong. Even if sexual orientation were a choice, you have yet to demonstrate how people who are different from you are evil. Is this all you've got?
@ryder4782 stup the hell up you stupid fucking liar. I am not gay. I'm 100% pure heterosexual. I love having sex with only very beautiful, hot, sexy, and gorgeous women. I'll never turn gay and become a stupid homosexual faggot. I'd rather put a gun to my head and blow my own head off than turn into a stupid fucking idoitic and sick and perverted homosexual faggot.
@mrrose3085 Lol you took the bait. But seriously you have to be gay to know that its not a choice. You could only answer whether something is an option or not if you have experienced it. You have not way other than that to prove its a choice. Its the way your born and science has proven it.
@GodCreatesGays2 No. You are cleary a stupid uneducated moron who knows nothing about the natural laws of nature, science, mathematics, philosophy, ethics, and morality. Being gay or not being gay is clearly a choice. Since no one is born gay just like no one is born evil people have a choice not whether or not they want to be gay or not just like people have a choice whether they want to be good or evil.
@GodCreatesGays2 Since no one is born gay just like no one is born evil people cleary have a choice on whether or not be be gay just like people have a choice on whether not they want to be good or evil, becauy se we as humans all have the power of free-will, but however in the end we must all answer for all the choices and decisions we have made in our lives whether they be good, or bad, right, or wrong, for we must all ulitmately answer to creator for everything we have ever done in life.
You mentioned philosophy- your argument isn't logical: it's circular reasoning: You're assuming that no one is born gay-similarly no one is born evil, therefore it's a choice.
That doesn't make any sense. Meanwhile you'll let science tell you what medicine to take if you're ill, but not not trust it's findings on homosexuality. There's just no coherent philosophy there, it's all cherry picking contradictions.
@cmmndrblu No. You are dead wrong. There is no scientific evidence and proof that exists that proves that people are born gay. There is no gay gene. So, no one is born gay. Everything. Every action and decision a person does and makes is by their own free choice. No is points a gun to people's heads and telling them that they have to be homosexual. Therefore being gay is a choice just like everything else in life.
Since people have the power of free will and choice, they have the power to choose between good and evil, and what's right and wrong, however people are always suppose to choice to do what's good, ethical, moral, and right by following a path of goodness and righteneous by following the path of the light of God Almighty, because god is our creator.
@mrrose3085 Why would anyone CHOOSE to be gay in a world where gay people are bullied into killing themselves?
If the world were full of rational, caring and generous people a man or woman need not be afraid of being who they are.
I for one fear that day may never come, the day where a gay person can openly exist! Where a child does not have to fear for their very life! Where 2 loving parents are told they are not allowed a child! To deny anyone these things for simply existing is evil.
@PUMKINMANforever Homosexuality does NOT occur in nature. Animals have sex with members of the same sex, but they aren't homosexual. Sex for them is over dominance but animals don't MATE with members of the same sex.
@SmartAlx Some animals don't mate at all. In the case of most mammals (With some exceptions like hyenas, which are hermaphrodites, possessing both male and female organs), you need a male and a female to "mate" and produce an offspring. But homosexuality isn't contingent on reproduction. And it's not about dominance. Male dolphins have been observed taking turns having sex with each others blow holes, in the wild. The gay gene's common, and may impede it's own replication, but it's not evil.
@mrrose3085 sobs, "Homosexuality is evil, because it is not natural, is immoral, is unethical. Therefore homosexual is evil, wicked, sick, and immoral."
Hey all you stupid idiot morons out there who think that homosexuality and same-sex marriages are cool are wrong, because all our founding fathers of our nation like Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Ben Franklen etc. all hated all gays, homosexuals, and lesbians for being the sicko and perverted rapist and child molesting fucks that they are. Go gays in the U.S.A. This country of ours in suppose to be a gay free society as according to our U.S. constitution.
@mrrose3085 There isn't a single person on this earth that is infallible. Even if the founding fathers hated gays that doesn't necessarily mean that they are right.I have no idea why you think that lesbians are "sicko and perverted rapist and child molesting fucks" but even if that is true some straight people that marry are rapists as well. So should we deny every straight couple marriage? I have yet to see a homophobe to give a rational response as to why they oppose same sex marriage.
@MisterCuriousJoe Because homosexuality and gay same-sex calmarriages are immoral, ethical, and unnatural. Remember Alexander the Great. He was gay and big time homosexual who had sex with not only other full grown men, but also little 8 to 10 year old boys. So, what a bunch of sick perverted perverts homosexuals are.
@mrrose3085 hahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahaha.....yeah that called a pedofile...when a male wants to fuck a another male.....he can...you also jack off at lesbian porn..right? We all do... dont worry about it..by the way one out of ten males or woman are gay ..why? thats nature way of trying to stop the massive population...way to go stupid..
@bonkers4000 Perhaps not, but his point that the opinion of a bible-thumper should not interfere with making reality work is a true enough point that I cant see anyone having a sensible argument against boycotting political hate of people who should not be discriminated because they're 'different'. Black people were discriminated because they were 'different'. Jews in Germany were discriminated to an extreme level because they were 'different' than Hitler's supreme being ideals. Get the picture?
Wow, Ashton is so right. It is that simple, this issue should have been fought so that is couldnt become a ballot measure. It is so ridiculous that California Supreme Court said that the majority does not have the right to vote away the rights of a minority. Prop 8 does just that. A larger group oppresses a smaller, this is so stupid.
There were several reasons we rebelled, the Boston Tea Party story that every school child knows makes Taxation without representation one every body talks about, there was also Guilty without trial or right to defend oneself, forced religion, science being heresy and punishable by death if your claims refuted the religious beliefs.....So yes separation of church and state was one of the those reasons........
The American colonies rebelled against the crown because they refused to seperate church and state? WTF?? I'm guessing Ashton doesn't hold a masters in history.
@Rompcom It is one of the reasons.... The british government dictated what religion people were allowed to follow. That's why freedom of religion is in the constitution otherwise it would have probably of gone without saying.
@WizkidDreamer28 - Freedom of religion did go without saying and is not mentioned in the Constitution. It came in the bill of rights years after the constitution was ratified.
The Bill of RIghts is a part of the US Constitution. Freedom of religion is in the first amendment which is a part of the US Constitution which is the Bill of Rights. So I suppose more accurately the Bill of Rights is a part of the US Constitution, and if you want to recognize it or not freedom of religion is one of the reasons for america seeking independence.
@WizkidDreamer28 - The Declaration of Independance was written in 1776 and the only mention of religion is that there is "equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle [us]." The Constitution was ratified in 1787 and Freedom of Religion was not mentioned. The Bill of Rights was added in 1791, years after we were already free and independant.
@Rompcom Also on your facts about the bill of rights coming 4 years after the constitution, you are correct in factual time line, But the founding fathers spent those four years debating and fine tuning the first several amendments so as to make sure they got it right.
What matters is that it was still the original founding fathers who drafted them and not some fanatic with his own agenda 5 generations later.
@DawnOfTheDead991 He never said it was illegal. He was mainly talking about how the bill was religiously influenced. Why shouldn't homosexuals not be allowed to be married. I don't see how that negatively affects society anyways. Using religion as a means to pass a law is unconstitutional.
@AQGOAT24 He did say it was unconstitutional. That was my point. As well as t was just re-affirming previous laws, all legal. I would rather see gay marriage passed by legislatures and/or popular vote rather than be imposed by judicial fiat.
NOW thats How you preach! He had nice points and showed religion for the benifits and to stop condeming people. both of them were right. and he made me laugh lol And im not whatsoever religuos I am agianst religion. but his points were well thought out. Nice job
YESSSS! Christians values have GOT to STOP interferring with our laws. It's totally your choice if you want to have a gay marriage or not and no one is forcing you to, but QUIT telling other peope they can't based on YOUR beliefs!
I've always admired the theology of the Episcopalian Church. I'm Methodist but there are parts of Methodist theology with which I disagree. Kutcher should have picked his words differently. He should have said we founded this country on the ideals of liberty, a free society. What freedom is there in Prop 8? The freedom to impose your will on another person? The ability to marry whom you choose is a grant of liberty, Prop 8 denies liberty.
WAY TO GO, ASHTON!! He's absolutely right. The fact that this harmless, non issue is even on the Goddamn ballot is unbelievable and scary. It's scary to me, because if organized, Christian religion gets their way on this one, what's next? They'll put a man in jail for not wearing a tie on Sunday? Or a woman in jail for wearing a mini skirt on the Sabbath? Imagine a society where you can't stare at sexy girl for more than 2 seconds or forget to say Grace before supper without getting flogged!
@smalltownman73 Come on, Prop 8 was just re-affirming laws previously passed by the legislature but over turned by judges. 10 years ago no one cared a whit about gay marriage. Please spare us the hype.
Well, I guess that's what happens when you don't finish high school. You think the USA was founded because the British wouldn't seperate church and state, and not because of taxation without representation. I bet he thinks Ninjas defeated the Nazis too.
@Rompcom refer to American Enlightenment. There are several reasons that brought about the American Revolution, taxation without representation was one of them. So was freedom of and from religion, aka separation of church and state.
Oh, sweetie, go back to high school! You'll learn about the American Revolution. There's this document entitled the Declaration of Independence that you'll have the opportunity to read. In it, you will read a long list of grievances committed against the colonies by King George. It is far more complicated than taxes. It goes much deeper than that. Don't let the Tea Party tell you we left Britain over taxes. It was about liberty and you'll see that when you read the Declaration.
@Rompcom Sweetie, please don't childishly spam my profile. If you wish to respond, just do so by replying to this post. If you look to the right, you will see five letters: R-E-P-L-Y. Clicking on this is how you respond. Also, when you do so, please use proper English rather than the middle school bastardization of English you obviously prefer.
@Rompcom Can't wait for people like you to look back on this and realize how ridiculous it was. And you're wrong but obviously the other comments showed you that.
@flea fuck7 - I don't think marriage equality is ridiculous. I just think Ashton's view on American history is. Show me where in the Declaration of Independance where Jefferson stated religious freedom as one of the reasons to secede from the Crown in 1776. Show me where it states it in the constitution in 1789, or the bill of rights years later. Seperation of church and state came decades later in a supreme court decision. Free your mind, dude.
Scott Peterson, a guy who murdered his wife and unborn child in California. How is it that he CAN get married but two loving gay people CANNOT. Anything wrong with that. When I get older, I'm becoming an Episcopalian, one of the few Christian religions with their heads on straight.
@jbugarin1888 Actually I believe it's slightly off center, but still hitting the mark of what I'm willing to tolerate. And you live in a free country (probably), nobody, including your parents can prevent you from holding you religious beliefs or lack thereof.
"...to get divorced...that's when you get stoned." Thanks for reminding us that we need to look to the bible for moral (not to mention political) guidance.
The sensible religious view.
Isn't this an oxymoron?

@amprev22 So if god made "men to be men and women to be women"
Why did he create gay men and women?
In conclusion, your god is a troll.

@convictPKlol That's just it, God did not create men & women to be gay. He designed marriage to be between ONE man & ONE women >.< & It is not that since I am a Christian I hate gay people, what I hate is the sin (being gay) not the person.
amprev22 3 weeks ago
Being gay is a choice. It is choosing to live a sinful lifestyle. If one were to proclaim being gay it is because they are choosing to say yes to their flesh even if they don't want to be gay. If they said yes & accepted Jesus then they could have a renewed mind & heart & would begin to want what God wants for their life & marriage which is between 1 MAN & 1 WOMEN.

I've yet to find a gay that well resolutely denounce NAMBLA.
boombastic4eva 4 weeks ago
Heres my say in all of this gaydom...

Dont tie God into it and try to make it Holy.Unbelievable.but its my percpective,

0893deuce 4 months ago
@Belldandy722 what im trying to say is that people shouldnt kill themselves. ik that people do and its sad. but a person needs know and understand that their life has value. i wish people would know and understand this sooner. i am a christian, mind you. and also, concerning church and state,if church and state were to be done correctly, and i dont mean the way they do things in the vatican, which i hate by the way, C&S would be quite plausible and do-able
0893deuce 4 months ago
@0893deuce Ah! That's more clear (: Sorry, you had to type out a lot for me to understand your opinion :/ I'm glad we're on the same boat on that one. Anyway, I respect religions. I think at first it could be doable but after a certain point, I feel like something is bound to go wrong in that system as such and they would probably make us follow their religion.
Belldandy722 4 months ago
@Belldandy722 thats a very plausible response. but please keep in mind though. i do not agree with homosexuality at all. i hate that in particular. i dont hate the people mind you, just that particular aspect. i believe as long as there is life, there is hope.which is why im against the death penalty. speaking bluntly, as a christian, i read many things in the bible that if i wanted to i could make a case for more contradictions. most people that criticize the bible(im not saying you do)
0893deuce 4 months ago
@0893deuce Haha! Thanks xD your response is very plausible too. I don't mind if you don't agree with it. Its YOUR perspective. I understand. I don't like people that are overly preppy but I don't hate the people ^^ Contradictions are found in almost anything so I'm sure you could. Some people even think the bible is evil. Its ridiculous if you ask me. Certain people just did evil and misinterpreted the bible :/ I find the bible to be very interesting though. I just don't follow your religion.
Belldandy722 4 months ago 9
@Belldandy722 but for those that do, they look at it from a very idiotic standpoint. they dont consider history which dictates certain things. if you want to know what i mean ill be happy to elaborate. but they are so close minded they dont notice the more obvious things. they ignore perspective and times for the most part. oh and also i do not respect other religions. if you dont agree with an ideology that you have found faults in, do not respect it. for example, i do not respect the vatican
0893deuce 4 months ago
@Belldandy722 or the catholic church because i know how it started back in ancient babylon, and im also aware of the perversion that has been applied to the bible and the atrocities that they have been committing for over a thousand years. so if you dont believe something, and you know why you dont believe, and also no one has given you better reasons to believe, then do not respect it/them.
0893deuce 4 months ago
@0893deuce I see (: I grew up with Catholic Religion and I have to say, it has its good aspects too. I used to be very close to God but certain things happened in my life when I was growing up. Belldandy722 4 months ago
0893deuce 4 months ago
@Belldandy722 put simply, icare about a persons soul, not their feelings. this is why i can be blunt and not feel bad. and thinbk about this. CHrist WAS NOT HERE TO MAKE OUR LIVES EASIER. HE WAS HERE TO MAKE IT BETTER. WITH THAT IM GOING TO BED..I GOT SCHOOL IN THE MORNING BUT I WILL BE BACK...

Its actually made my believes even worse. Not the religion but what my youth group leader had said. What they teach my group, I can't stand.
Belldandy722 4 months ago
@Belldandy722 if you really are trying to live the christian life, then you need to distinguish between true christianity and false christianity, according to history and the bible.im going to speak bluntly. catholicismis not christianity. peter was never the first pope, and a vast majority of the protestant doctrines are paganistic in doctrine and belief. things such as christmas, easter, halloween, valentines day,and also a few others, should not be celebrated by christians.
0893deuce 4 months ago

Belldandy722 4 months ago

TheRawWord 4 months ago
@TheRawWord who said anything about our physical lives? and he did come to make it better. people think thing are going to be easier when we have christ. here is why i am right. if you live ou the christian life the way the BIBLE SAYS, AND OLSO HAVE THE LOVE OF GOD AND HIS SPIRIT IN YOU, THEN WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE?likewise, even if there is nothing to gain in the end, living the christian life out is still a sweet life. like i said, christ=life better, not easier.

I have sex and fall in love with men because that is what comes natural to me, I never chose between mandate or woman, just like you never did.
esanperez 5 months ago
@mrrose3085 Do you remember choosing your sexual orientation? Do you remember having a convo with yourself saying "Self, I'm gonna have to choose what gender I'm attracted to. Hhmmmmm...I think I'll choose heterosexuality. Yeeaahh, that sounds good!" Because I certainly don't remember choosing, neither does anyone else still sticking by this absurd and ridiculous argument. "I chose to be straight" or "I chose to be gay"....give me a fucking break.
esanperez 5 months ago
@esanperez You're wrong. People do choose what their sexual orientation is. I chose to be heterosexuality because love having sex very beautiful, hot, sexy, and gorgeous women. @PUMKINMANforever All you have to do is to look all around you to see the variety of countless diferent life forms around you from people to animals, plants and everything in between and that somethine had to create them all because they couldn't have created themselves so some higher power which does exists had created them all or they won't exists. @mrrose3085 Flawed logic. nature does not imply creator. Science makes gods superfluous. In addition, designer clause leads to infinite regress and therefore has little explanatory power - bad theory. Further more, creator nowhere implies christian god. Why is Homosexuality evil?
PUMKINMANforever 6 months ago
@PUMKINMANforever Homosexuality is evil, because it is not natural, is immoral, is unethical. Therefore homosexual is evil, wicked, sick, and immoral. No is born gay.
mrrose3085 6 months ago
@mrrose3085 Homosexuality clearly occurs in the natural world, therefore it is natural. It can be observed in most vertebrates and almost all mammals. Evil is the deliberate disregard for, or an active attempt to sabotage the welfare of others. How do the private activities of consenting lovers fall in this category?
PUMKINMANforever 6 months ago
@PUMKINMANforever No. Homosexuality is clearly limited to the entire human race. No one is born gay. Being a stupid gay homosexual faggot is a choice. Either somone choices to be gay or not. Therefore homosexuality is a chosen lifestyle, so no one is born gay.
mrrose3085 6 months ago
@mrrose3085 Ignorance or Obstinate denial of evidence. Unbiased scientific inquiry proves you wrong. Even if sexual orientation were a choice, you have yet to demonstrate how people who are different from you are evil. Is this all you've got?

ryder4782 5 months ago
@mrrose3085 bleats, "Homosexuality is clearly limited to the entire human race. "
Except in the real world, you mean, where homosexuality is a natural phenomenon in both the human and animal kingdoms.

Heterosexuals are not born gay, this is true. Only gay people are born gay.
"Being a stupid gay homosexual faggot is a choice"

GodCreatesGays2 5 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 No. You are cleary a stupid uneducated moron who knows nothing about the natural laws of nature, science, mathematics, philosophy, ethics, and morality. Being gay or not being gay is clearly a choice. mrrose3085 5 months ago

GodCreatesGays2 5 months ago 22
@GodCreatesGays2 Since no one is born gay just like no one is born evil people cleary have a choice on whether or not be be gay just like people have a choice on whether not they want to be good or evil, becauy se we as humans all have the power of free-will, but however in the end we must all answer for all the choices and decisions we have made in our lives whether they be good, or bad, right, or wrong, for we must all ulitmately answer to creator for everything we have ever done in life.
mrrose3085 5 months ago
@mrrose3085
There's just no coherent philosophy there, it's all cherry picking contradictions.
cmmndrblu 5 months ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@cmmndrblu No. Therefore being gay is a choice just like everything else in life.
mrrose3085 5 months ago

SmartAlx 5 months ago
@SmartAlx Some animals don't mate at all. In the case of most mammals (With some exceptions like hyenas, which are hermaphrodites, possessing both male and female organs), you need a male and a female to "mate" and produce an offspring. But homosexuality isn't contingent on reproduction. And it's not about dominance. Male dolphins have been observed taking turns having sex with each others blow holes, in the wild. The gay gene's common, and may impede it's own replication, but it's not evil.

MisterCuriousJoe 6 months ago
@MisterCuriousJoe Because homosexuality and gay same-sex calmarriages are immoral, ethical, and unnatural. Remember Alexander the Great. He was gay and big time homosexual who had sex with not only other full grown men, but also little 8 to 10 year old boys. So, what a bunch of sick perverted perverts homosexuals are.

@mrrose3085 hahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahaha.....yeah that called a pedofile...when a male wants to fuck a another male.....he can...you also jack off at lesbian porn..right?

JVROSS25 9 months ago 3
There were several reasons we rebelled, the Boston Tea Party story that every school child knows makes Taxation without representation one every body talks about, there was also Guilty without trial or right to defend oneself, forced religion, science being heresy and punishable by death if your claims refuted the religious beliefs.....So yes separation of church and state was one of the those reasons........
robtay1963 9 months ago
The American colonies rebelled against the crown because they refused to seperate church and state? WTF?? I'm guessing Ashton doesn't hold a masters in history.
Rompcom 9 months ago
@Rompcom It is one of the reasons.... The british government dictated what religion people were allowed to follow. That's why freedom of religion is in the constitution otherwise it would have probably of gone without saying.
WizkidDreamer28 9 months ago
@WizkidDreamer28 - Freedom of religion did go without saying and is not mentioned in the Constitution. It came in the bill of rights years after the constitution was ratified.
Rompcom 9 months ago
The Bill of RIghts is a part of the US Constitution. Freedom of religion is in the first amendment which is a part of the US Constitution which is the Bill of Rights. So I suppose more accurately the Bill of Rights is a part of the US Constitution, and if you want to recognize it or not freedom of religion is one of the reasons for america seeking independence.
WizkidDreamer28 9 months ago
@WizkidDreamer28 - The Declaration of Independance was written in 1776 and the only mention of religion is that there is "equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle [us]." The Constitution was ratified in 1787 and Freedom of Religion was not mentioned. The Bill of Rights was added in 1791, years after we were already free and independant.
Rompcom 9 months ago
@Rompcom Also on your facts about the bill of rights coming 4 years after the constitution, you are correct in factual time line, But the founding fathers spent those four years debating and fine tuning the first several amendments so as to make sure they got it right.
What matters is that it was still the original founding fathers who drafted them and not some fanatic with his own agenda 5 generations later.
robtay1963 9 months ago
@robtay1963 - after four years, by definition, they were not "Founding Fathers"
Rompcom 9 months ago
Ashton is totally wrong, the Prop 8 people are acting legally and constitutionally. You can disagree with Prop 8 but it was totally legal.
DawnOfTheDead991 11 months ago
@DawnOfTheDead991 He never said it was illegal. He was mainly talking about how the bill was religiously influenced. Why shouldn't homosexuals not be allowed to be married. I don't see how that negatively affects society anyways. Using religion as a means to pass a law is unconstitutional.
AQGOAT24 11 months ago
@AQGOAT24 He did say it was unconstitutional. That was my point. As well as t was just re-affirming previous laws, all legal. I would rather see gay marriage passed by legislatures and/or popular vote rather than be imposed by judicial fiat.

yankeepunk3000 11 months ago
YESSSS! Christians values have GOT to STOP interferring with our laws. It's totally your choice if you want to have a gay marriage or not and no one is forcing you to, but QUIT telling other peope they can't based on YOUR beliefs!
peaceandrosegirl 11 months ago
I've always admired the theology of the Episcopalian Church. I'm Methodist but there are parts of Methodist theology with which I disagree. Kutcher should have picked his words differently. He should have said we founded this country on the ideals of liberty, a free society. What freedom is there in Prop 8? The freedom to impose your will on another person? The ability to marry whom you choose is a grant of liberty, Prop 8 denies liberty.
Padmepotter4986 1 year ago
WAY TO GO, ASHTON!! He's absolutely right. The fact that this harmless, non issue is even on the Goddamn ballot is unbelievable and scary. It's scary to me, because if organized, Christian religion gets their way on this one, what's next? They'll put a man in jail for not wearing a tie on Sunday? Or a woman in jail for wearing a mini skirt on the Sabbath? Imagine a society where you can't stare at sexy girl for more than 2 seconds or forget to say Grace before supper without getting flogged!
smalltownman73 1 year ago
@smalltownman73 Come on, Prop 8 was just re-affirming laws previously passed by the legislature but over turned by judges. 10 years ago no one cared a whit about gay marriage. Please spare us the hype.
DawnOfTheDead991 11 months ago
Well, I guess that's what happens when you don't finish high school. You think the USA was founded because the British wouldn't seperate church and state, and not because of taxation without representation. I bet he thinks Ninjas defeated the Nazis too.
Rompcom 1 year ago
@Rompcom Yo genius, there's many reasons behind the founding of the Unite States.
Overdell 1 year ago
@Rompcom refer to American Enlightenment. There are several reasons that brought about the American Revolution, taxation without representation was one of them. So was freedom of and from religion, aka separation of church and state.
benny306 1 year ago
Oh, sweetie, go back to high school! You'll learn about the American Revolution. There's this document entitled the Declaration of Independence that you'll have the opportunity to read. In it, you will read a long list of grievances committed against the colonies by King George. It is far more complicated than taxes. It goes much deeper than that. Don't let the Tea Party tell you we left Britain over taxes. It was about liberty and you'll see that when you read the Declaration.

@Rompcom Can't wait for people like you to look back on this and realize how ridiculous it was. And you're wrong but obviously the other comments showed you that.
fleeflee7 11 months ago
