  • Pitocin feels like bitter pain...that's how I describe it

  • You should do the formal complaint for sure.

  • I am so sorry for everything you had to go through! :(

(I would seriously consider a Formal Complaint. Epidurals are serious and they need to be given with care and compassion)

  • I was going to comment on your last instalment but I just had to say: what a complete a-hole... negative and unsupportive people like that make me so scared of doing a hospital birth as you never know who you are going to get and how they will effect your birthing time. So glad that you had an incredible OB that was on your side though!

  • ok woah! I will wait to make my full comment for the last part. but pretty please complain about that asshole who did ur epidural. would save alot of women from having that guy do their epidural.

  • Im Sorry that you never got to have your ideal labor and delivery DEFINITELY make a Complaint!.. :( I have a small frame and i thought that for sure that i would have a long as labor but i dilated 3cm in one hour and i ended up having a 5 hour labor. i still dont know to this day how on earth my labor went so quickly cos i was tensing up my body thru out the whole thing even when i tried not 2. I never had a a Epi even tho i would have loved to have one! haha

  • I totally know what you mean about the pain...Pitocin is awful. I also had back labor that was awful as well. About the Anesthesiologist....I am not one that used inappropriate language often...but I must say WHAT A FREAKING DICK!

  • Cool that you were doing the homeopathic try!!

  • I have followed your birth and I think you should definately file a complaint against the anesthesiologist. That was horrible that he didn't care that he hurt you!! Definately follow up with that!!

  • i was one of those that refused the epidural until i ended up with a csection.. i've wondered since then if things would have gone differently had i gotten the epidural.

(made it through the pitocin labor the second time without anything, but there was a whole lot of screaming going on!)

i would definitely do a formal complaint about that jerk...
