Genetic research DNA tests on their Italian descendants show the Etruscans came from Turkey
"The DNA samples from Murlo and Volterra are much more highly correlated to those of the eastern peoples than to those of the other inhabitants of [Italy]," said Alberto Piazza of the University of Turin, who presented the research. "One particular genetic variant, found in the samples from Murlo, was shared only with people from Turkey."
Respond to this video... Etruscans arrived in Italy before 800 BC. At the time Turkey was "Anatolia" so called before the invasion of the Turkic in the 1000 AD. So there is a gap of near 2000 years from the Turkic Turkey, before that Anatolia was a Roman province for few centuries (and with Costantinopolis a very important one! which then become Byzantium an stay Byzantium for many centuries more). Have you never think that this could be an answer to the genetics similarities?

etruscans derives by villanovians an italic populations who had colonized part of italic land. The theory of turks origins is obsolete by now. If there is a simlitude with ancient turks is only cause etruscans were great travellers cause the exportations and importations commercial contact with foreigner territories. Even in Africa (the ancient Cartagine) there was commercial relationship with etruscans. So no surprise.
