My Realtor-broker landlord is praying to his GOD every day that I don't move out...of this flipper house. His monthly PITI is TWICE what my rent is...and rents here are dropping fast. He was a little greedy...during the bubble and bought too many houses... I speculate I will read about him some day...going "postal" or experimenting with a new sport---like skydiving with no parachute. I wait...and he prays that interest rates do not increase . Come on 10% mortgages Watch those prices drop
They usually freeze up...because either they don't have the money...or they don't have the listing...WHy...because their broker just bought it. It should be a federal offense for a broker or Realtor to get the first dibs. They should wait at least 60 days...before placing an offer AFTER publishing the listing..honestly. No pocket listings allowed...I learned about the pocket listing scam.. How did I save all this money? I am a renter. My landlord is a Realtor and has no money.
When asked by a so-called buyers agent...one of the silliest questions they have..." What type of house are you looking for.. .? I tell them...its the same house that you would buy.... Think about the house you want...at the price that YOU want to pay...and that EXACTLY the house I am looking for. I have the cash...pick your house....at the price that you want to pay... and thats the same house that I want....Lets go...show me what YOU want...at a price that YOU think is reasonable...!
The hubris and ego. I am a cash buyer and still looking. The problem is..I am forced to comete against Realtors for the same DEALS! Why? they get the first shot at any deal...if it were a deal, they would buy it...why not? It's still legal..all they have to do is admit that they are a Realtor.....they get a shot at ALL the best deals. Proven fact...they brag to me about that all the time. What is left on the MLS listings are the old bones they won't touch because they are overpriced.
That was good!
