@Jiguhbiduh Dick did not give Brynn drugs, she had her own dealer from her earlier drug addicted days. Dick provided a small amount of cocaine to a group of people at a large Hollywood party, the rumor this moment got Brynn addicted again was created by Lewis out of anger. Brynn was a recovering drug addict, Dick did not know this because Phil never mentioned his personal life with cast members. She also had an anger problem and was on Zoloft, a drug known to create suicidal tendencies.
I agree. Blaming Andy Dick for Brynn and Phil's death is like blaming the cashier at McDonald's for an obese person's heart attack. She was a drug addict with severe emotional problems, and would have gotten drugs from Andy or anyone else. In moments where something so horrible and chaotic happens, it's easy to place blame somewhere else, but it IS unfair to put the blame on Andy Dick.
@Jiguhbiduh The only person who blamed Andy was Jon. Rogan is stated as saying, "it's silly to blame Andy for Phil's death." Foley has said "nobody Andy worked with blamed him for Phil's death." Not one cast member other than Jon has called him out about this incident, and being him and Phil were longtime friends, it's no surprise Jon blamed Dick. Dick's crime is being generous with cocaine at a Hollywood party, and in general being a dick, nothing more. Brynn Omdahl killed Phil, nobody else.
@apocalyptichybrid2 Thanks for info. but why do you think Andy is dick? Most of the stuff I've seen him in, including 'NewsRadio, is in my opinion, fantastic...
@Jiguhbiduh I'm talking about his personal life, outside of acting. Andy is a drug addict, he can be obnoxious and says some very insulting things about people including his friends, and his behavior in public has gotten him arrested many times. I love Dick, especially here in NewsRadio, but his personal and public life has been spiraling downwards for quite awhile now and he definitely needs help, whether anyone will help him or whether Dick will accept help I do not know. I wish him the best.
this guy was here before wasnt he?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how the rest of the 'NewsRadio' cast reacted towards knowing that Andy Dick was giving Phil Hartman's wife drugs?
