@Kadrius23 - Completely agree. I stumbled on this game purely by accident and i think it is one if the best games i ever played too. Even the upcoming ( awesome looking ) Battlefield : Bad Company 2, doesn't have the level of destruction in RF:G ! I am surprised that no-one else has tried to recreate this game engine destruction for thier games too. It should be part of EVERY open world/sandbox game, it is THAT good. Anyone who doesn't have RF:G yet, you can find it super cheap online anywhere:)

for those of you asking why buildings or anything else blown up in this game doesn't re-appear later on in the game. it's simple really. salvage=money in this game. the more salvage you collect, the more money you earn, the more money you earn, the more upgrades you can purchase. If you were able to blow something up, reload you game and blow it up again you would have enough salvage in the game to upgrade everything 25% into the game.

Yeah this game has a ton of cool vehicles. There are also tanks which are epic. There's around 20 weapons which often have multiple upgrades for example this disc shooting weapon where you can make it shoot faster and shoot explosive disks.

There's also walkers as mentioned.

There was a lot of potential here, but the game just wasn't built around using the environment as a weapon. It's true that it is possible, but there's no real reason to play like that. Easier to just shoot them. One of my biggest complaints would be the way building destruction is handled. You can knock out just about every support beam in a building and one beam on the other side will keep it standing. Bad physics.

Still an awesome game though, way ahead of anything else.

i can see that the game is not based on total destruction, thats why they included cars in them, makes it look like a GTA :D but they put so many effort to destruction side they didnt pay any atention to infiltration missions in the actual buildings.

All buildings and bridges are destructible, not just by explosives but by sledgehammer. You can whip our your sledgehammer and just go to town on a building. All of the destruction is physics based as well so you don't just get pre-created animations.
