I agree it gives a minor key impression, although the minor-major system wasnt that developped at the time, so there no real major or minor key.

'halfstep leading notes' are the main concept, and they change constantly during the tune.

Thank you Jive... I always had a soft spot for the spanish Vihuela music. I had a Vihuela for a few weeks,lend from my guitar prof, but he didnt wanted to sell it to me. :-( too bad...
