I think the bunkers exist, and could be used for anything, including the possibility that the world might end in 2012. I still don't think though that the world is going to end in 2012.
I don't think anything will occur in 2012, however - that isn't to say Governments are still not prepearing and looking after themselves, should they believe an event like it might occur. @VctrTheGreat you are right, nobody can say what happened in 2012 because its the future, but thats not what jesse is doing here.the myan calendar just happens to end on dec 21st 2012 which just so happens to coincide with factual statements made by nasa saying that our sun is showing signs of a massive solar flare which if it hit the earth,our lives as we know it would be destroyed.there may be holes in the story but thats only because the US government wont tell us everything...

sure, NASA backed up the statement of the solar flares knocking out grids. but did you know that it was basically worse case scenario? and that NASA worst case scenario pretty much never happens??? you can't predict with accuracy the size of future solar flares.

This episode is for the most part pure garbage. That's unfortunate 'cause I like Ventura. For one, the weather on the sun is as hard to predict as the weather on earth. So imagine trying to predict the weather 2+ years in advance. Ventura fell for this "sonspot 2012" hype like A. Jones did back in 1999 fell over the media blitz Y2K!

It could just be a plot by the rich to get all the coastal property.Maybe some rich Robber Barron's want people to panic and sell their coastal property and run off to the mountains so they convince people that the whole coast will be underwater. Then when 2012 comes and goes and nothing happens they will build resorts all along the coast and if you and I ever want to see it we have to pay. They get richer and we get screwed as usual.
