Tested Lenser X21 with 6 D size 1.5V Eveready Battery. (Brighter & Works well)

(Multimeter Measure)

1 D size = 1.8A,

2 D size = 2.3A total,

3 D = 2.6A,

4 D = 2.7A Led Lenser X21 Draw 1A (4 Battery total), Power= (1.4x4) x 1A= 5.6W

5 D = 3A Led Lenser X21 Draw 1.55A, Power= (1.4x5) x 1.55A= 10.85W

6 D = 3.2A Led Lenser X21 Draw 2A, Power= (1.4x6) x 2A= 16.8W

1 XR-E use 3.9v x 1A= 4W (228 Lumen)

Total 7 XR=E Cree use 4W x 7 Led=28W Max.

@nichtderlars Mono-Batterien bzw. Typ D gibt es in jedem Laden und auch vergleichsweise günstig (leider nicht ganz so günstig wie Walkman Batterien Typ AA)

@nichtderlars laut der Bedienungsanleitung sind Akkus dafür ungeeignet. Eventuell gehen 1,5 Volt Akkus doch, aber kann das nicht mit Bestimmtheit sagen. 4 normale Monozellen halten allerdings recht lange durch, wenn man nicht immer auf der vollen Stufe leuchtet und sich somit permanent selbst blendet ;-)

wie lange halten die Batterien bei volllichtmodus? möchte mir die nächstes jahr auch kaufen, habe die p14 und binn beeindruckt, brauche aber etwas grösseres!

aber die batterien sollten schon mindestens 60min bei 100% halten....

@NeonAerox die X21 hält bei vollen Batterien und auf voller Helligkeit auf jeden Fall mehr als 1 Stunde durch. Auf der Packung steht ja 300 Stunden für den dunkleren Modus ... wenn man es hochrechnet müsste die Lampe auf der hellsten Stufe 21 Watt brauchen und die Batterien liefern 120 Wattstunden ... ergibt also fast 6 Stunden.

Absolut Weltklasse diese Lampe! Ich habe die LED LENSER T7 und P14 und die beiden sind schon so hell dass ein Warnhinweis "Vorsicht Laserstrahlung" an den Lampen angebracht ist.Aber die LED LENSER X21 übertrifft alles bisher dagewesene. Das einzige was mich davon abhält, die Lampe sofort zu kaufen/bestellen ist der doch nicht grade geringe Preis.Sollte ich mal eben um die 300 € übrig haben, werde ich sie in eine X21 investieren. Ich bin sicher, dass es sich lohnt.

HID = High Intensity Discharge

HID runs relatively cool and doesn't require a heatsink like the high powered LED.

20 Watt HID will run down batteries just as fast as a 20 watt LED, so yes and no, cause 20 watts is a lot and would run down a set of D's in a heartbeat no matter what the source is.

HID is probably one the most efficient light sources. 3x more efficient then halogen and 1.5x (give or take) more than LED

Don't they use a lot of energy for their light output? As I understand it they can get very very hot while LED technology works at relatively low temperatures. Wouldn't HID empty the batteries in no time?

Also ne Olight M30 kann da sicher nicht mithalten, auch keine Fenix TK40 oder Jetbeam M1X. Selbst ne EagleTac M2XC4 wird es schwer haben. Da muss schon was in Richtung Wolfs Eye Thunder her.

Alternativ bekommt man für 50 Euro eine Romisen RC-T6 mit ordentlich Leuchtkraft.

Viel zu Teuer, viel zu groß. Das gleiche Licht bekomme ich auch aus eine Olight M30, die sehr viel kleiner und billiger ist. Außerdem ist sie auch technisch überlegen.

Es ist etwas weniger Licht, aber du hast recht: kleiner und billiger ist die M30. Allerdings braucht man CR123 Batterien und sie hält nur 1,5 Stunden durch eben weil es nur so kleine Batterien sind ... die X21 hält dagegen zig Stunden.

Was meinst du mit technisch überlegen? Wie kann etwas das Licht macht einem anderen Gerät das Licht macht irgendwie auf diese Weise überlegen sein? "technisch"? Strom trifft Lampe wird zu Licht und ein bisserl Optik, mehr ist da nicht

Bei der Olight gibt es eine elektronische Regelung, sodass man auch dann noch die volle Helligkeit bekommt, wenn die Batterie fast leer ist. Außerdem ist diese Regelung besser für die LED. Sowas gibt es bei LedLenser nicht und das ist auch der Grund für die lange Laufzeit. Sie Leuchtet zwar 300 Stunden, aber nach wenigen Stunden ist sie so dunkel, dass man sie eigentlch nicht mehr gebrauchen kann. Das meinte ich mit technisch überlegen.

Sie wird am Ende dunkler, das stimmt und ein Spannungsregler wäre hier sicher sinnvoll (man könnte sich selbst einen basteln ... hmm), aber wenn die Spannung einer Batterie so stark gesunken ist, dann ist da auch kein Saft für lange Lautzeit drin ... was nützt es mir, wenn ich dann noch mal 30 Minuten volle Helligkeit bekomme? Nach 20 Stunden wird halt einfach der nächste Satz genommen und gut ... (300 Stunden gehen nur bei halber Helligkeit)

und Led Lenser Zweibrüder werden stark gehyped aber es sind keine Gebrauchslampen, das Alu ist sehr schwach. Die Olight sind extrem robuste Lampen für Feuerwehr oder sowas. Die X21 ist zwar hell aber mal ehrlich, das teil ist mega schwer und unhandlich, finde auch so kleinere Lampen besser wie die neue Raptor R2

;-) Es gibt für alles einen Anwendungsbereich und besonders schwach kommt mir das Material der Lampe nicht vor (das fühlt sich auch nicht an wie Aluminium).

Die X21 würde ich auch nicht kaufen, ich besitze aber mehrere kleinere Lampen von Zweibrüder (LedLenser) und bin begeistert von den Dingern. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist absolute Spitzenklasse und deutlich besser als die von vielen "günstigen" Led Lampen.

HRbear, Agree. It is a tad too high. (I have a 4 D-Cell Led Maglite) And I am more than happy with it, accompanied with a LedLenser V2 (1LED). The mag can flash longer, less bright though, while the Led Lenser disperse the light wider but brighther on the otherhand.

A standart MagLite 4D Cell has a light power of around 80 Lumen. It's as bright as the much smaller LedLenser P6 with two AA batteries... The Led Lenser X21 has around 900 Lumen! Standart MagLites are pretty weak...
