Sorry ! I was wrong about the scope as there is one that shows the outer circle.There may be some way to zoom the screen for use in this video. So that may well make me totally wrong. I was too quick to judge.

Great game and free too. But what we see here is an example of why on-line gaming will eventually fail. This is a hacked sniper rifle. There is no zoom on the scope in this game and the area outside the scope can not be seen.What we see here is a cheat pissing others off on a ranked server.

@mrsillywalk wtf are you talking about? There is zoom on the scope in FH2, he just edited his video to add zoom so we can see what he was shooting. Also you could see around the scope in the old version of this mod, wich is seen in this video. Stop talking bullshit lol

@Armydude991 Unfortunately Battlefield 2 doesn't have a friends list, so I can't add you unless on Steam or Xfire. And sniping in this game isn't always possible because the sniper kits are hidden in the maps and you have to find them to use them.

I went to select sniper kit and was dissappointed :(

@Armydude991 Heh, I think it's a very good thing. If the game had the sniper available on the spawn screen the servers would be FLOODED with snipers. And it would just become a boring campfest. Now it's very good because those who find the kits can snipe easily the ones that don't have scoped weapons. It's an overpowered kit, so it's good that they limit it.

@hundredsofthem yeh. if it's anything like FH1 which i played a lot,then u had to play the maps a few times to find where the various kits are, and there's not just sniper kits. on some were officer or spotter kits so u could call in arty strikes from SPs,tanks or fixed arty. it really made the game interesting. usually most maps had soldat, engineer[often AT incl],pilots but kits had to be found. the devs knew about ww2 and tried to be as close to the reality of ww2 as poss.bf1942 was wank.

@flameSWE It's a bug that some Nvidia card users benefit from, like me. When you get wounded in this game the vision gets grey and shaky, but I have the bug and that's why I don't get that.

Hey mate, amazing vid, love the mod myself. Just two questions, first is there a way to force your BF2 into a Widescreen resolution? I'm running on a 16:10 monitor and it will only run in 4:3 resolution.

Secondly is the Sniper kit a 1 man kit, then it's gone? I've never seen it on any servers

If you have the patch 1.50 installed for Battlefield 2, you should be able to just select the widescreen resolution you want.

The sniper kit is always hidden in the map some place, so you have to find it to get it, and it will respawn at the same places always.

On Pointe du Hoc it is in one of the landing crafts at the beach, and at the observation bunker once the Rangers have captured it.

In Luttich there's one at the top floor of one taller building you can get into, also one in the upstairs of the Farm house at the Farm Flag, and of course one at the top of the church.

Those are the ones I remember now, but try looking around or asking from people while on server, hope this helps =)

Well, the sniping isn't too difficult, but it's the fact that sniper kits are quite rare, and easy to lose that makes it so challenging to do. =)
