  • You're so talented for your age! It's inspiring. And this was posted almost three years ago...

  • 4:40 is a passage that i like very much..it is weet when u play it....other parts u mastered very nice...the idea to replace the Video with your picture with nice legs and this shoes...very nice...wonderful... :-))

  • so exact it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!haha

  • Beautiful playing and nice smile :)

  • LIKE

  • So fucking dainty, Beethoven WAS a man. :)

  • dude I she's cute, but I like my interpretation better. Maybe her and I should date.

  • I find it as if Beethoven was thinking something along the lines of piece of cake when he wrote this. It's beautifull nonetheless.

  • a beautiful, thoughtful rendition......i keep coming back for more....thanks!

  • Sherry, you make it sound so easy. Can you or anyone on youtube tell me how the trill part of the Prestissimo supposed to be played? Perhaps might sight reading's bad but I can't figure out the progression for the trill, like when the trill notes change, especially 21 to 25 measures into the trill. Does it change everywhere there's a "tr" written? If so, how exactly do you trill an octave or any other interval for that matter? Much appreciated, thanks!

  • God, aren't there parts you get gay'ed out slightly? I don't think this interpretation is as masculine as Beethoven intended it especially at parts.......

  • personally, I don't feel males get shit from the classical world

  • too feminine of an interpretation for me :) But GJ!

  • stumbled onto a very pretty and talented lady lol

  • Excellent performance. Being 15, I'm glad to see more young people that are able to play and appreciate this kind of music.

  • beautiful performance on beautiful piano,

  • you are AMAZING!

  • Nice interpretation, Sherry! I've been working through this entire sonata for.. wow almost a year -_-.. Really beautiful technique, particularly the intro and 1:25-1:46

My Waldstein sounds so different! Haha. But that's what I love about classical music, the different interpretations, that is.

  • LOOOOL this guy is a joker :P

  • so... how did you feel after holding that smile for 9 minutes? =P

  • the music ur playing is beautiful like u

  • u know wat, tis doesnt count as u playing

    :D

  • Lol, and why's that?

  • all u did was put up a picture of u and put like a song in it

    :D

  • LOL, please read my video description. It's there fo a reason.

This is a recording of ME playing. I hope you do realize that.

  • lol

    ;}

    my bad

hehehe btw u should make ur own songs =)

  • This was recorded at the piano camp that I went to over the summer called International Institute for Young Musicians (IIYM). I performed in one of their "honor" recitals (on July 11), a recital in which you must audition in order to be able to perform in it.

wow, :O how much are the fees for the camp?

  • What's your name?

  • @Fantasiex3 --- An excellent interpretation of the piece .Simply beautiful for such a technically challenging piece of music --thanks for brightening my day !!!!

  • well I +repped you :D Nothing wrong with requesting a wonderful piece to be played, or commending of a wonderful piece that was played

  • you have sexy feet

  • you are a good looking girl, but no offense, you looked more japanese than korean to be honest

  • Lol, I thought korean n jap r quite alike?

  • Wow that was amazing.

  • a bit too slow though...

  • is that u in the picture?u look grat and ur singing is great 1000/5 stars

  • Lol thanks, but I don't sing...

  • Can I request a song from you? I humbly beseech that you play the 3rd Movement from Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I will worship you and grovel at your feet if you do. ^_^

  • I agree. I love the 3rd mvt as well. Why did you get -rep anyway

  • Probably, because I was being a kissass or was requesting something. People hate me, and I don't let it bother me too much :P

  • I really hate/love you so much after hearing this. This is truly 100 times better than what I can achieve in this piece by summer if I put all of my effort into it. You practically owned the piece at the time when I was just starting to learn it.

  • this was beatiful!

  • suppose u alr took ur performance cert or even your ADC?

  • demn sherry, your performance was emaculate =o. youre gonna do great things with piano, you know that! this is just... clean awesome interpretation. YOURE gonna do great things with piano!!1

  • wow, i wish i could play like this! incredible!

  • gawd sherry

  • ahahaha this sounds like a professional job!!!!! ksjdgklj;ridgmld;

  • wow this sounds great!

  • Beautiful job!

  • o wow this was played at Lied Center? I'm a KU student! I was gonna go see the recital this summer but I didn't get around to it. :(

  • Wow, that's really tight! :)

It's okay, at least they hold a bunch of these recitals every year in the summer at KU. :P

  • brilliant!

  • Very very very nice!

  • do you have a link for sheets to this or anything ? o-o

  • by the way how do you feel after pressing the pedal with heels O.o

  • it feels like nothing o.o i think it's quite normal for me. XD

  • Hey I also press pedals with heels !!! but only when i practice

  • I imagine it must have felt unnatural stepping on the pedal with heels.

  • amazing like always =) good luck in the competition!

    PS

I guess you didn't have to go through the challenge of using windows movie maker if SOMEONE didn't mess up the video, haha.

  • pshhhhhh you didn't mess up :O it was me who didn't know how to combine video with audio. XDDD

  • Wow nice! Did you get tired at any point while playing this lol?

  • I used to get a bit tired towards the end, but I don't really feel that way anymore.

  • As always, extremely impressive. Keep it up!

  • as usual u did very good. I am very proud to be subscribed to your youtube profile. thanks for the magic.

  • LOL DUDE~! my birthday is on 10th of July...

  • Awesome job! Sounds really nice :) Haha my bday is on July 11, hence the "711" :P

  • Good Luck on the Contest hope u win.

  • Ah, the long awaited/expected video. I was hoping for a real video but this is will do. Overall, Very Good, points for the nerves and technique. There were four excusable mistakes near the end of part C of the Rondo but that's okay, it's a difficult part. Shounenk: 4:12 4:14 4:18 4:23 The rest is flawless. Can't wait for the newer one.

  • Congratulations! Please keep doing what you love and remember that you already have fans supporting you !

  • Very Nice why are you so good omg!

  • wow, such a nice sounding piano. u have great diminuendo and such :D kudos. i cant wait till i hear the next song. i hope u continue to play well

  • wow

thats a pretty pic of you :O

lol how long did that take to get it right? id prob get stuck on it like a piano noob XP

  • Wow. Who cares about a few mistakes, the expression is the most important part, and you excelled wonderfully in that o.o

    Wow. Really. Absolutely wonderful playing.

  • Thanks Philip!! :DD

  • :o

    You go girl~

  • omg, this was the song they played on House today with the patient that had savant syndrome. i was like, why does it sound so familiar xD

  • Wow! Thats some amazing playing! I can't really hear any subtle mistakes because your overall playing overshadowed it. Keep up the good work, you'll be famous in no time^^

  • you're really good, i wish i could play as good as you

  • FANTASIEX3 wow i will by tickets for u live in concert when u become famous i ..dont wat to say

that was awesome and that pic u look beautiful

how do i admire u GO FANTASIEX3!!!I LOVE YOU!!!!

  • Wow. Really, just wow. Brilliant performance .. I'd love to see you perform live one day. The whole song has a bit of a romantic influence, but then again, who's really opposed to pedaling lots?

    Really beautiful, again. ♥

  • hahahah! thank you GermanSeabass! :)

  • wow! *cries*

  • you're amazing!

  • too bad it wasn't recorded with a movie, although the picture was good :). Yeah, you have great potential. I now understand why you are good at the popular anime and other songs you have--it takes classical training to make those fingers fly! Are you doing some sort of conservatory program? I did Royal Conservatory all levels thru performers and teachers ARCT up here in Canada. Is music something you're pursuing? Good luck Saturday! ;)

  • Actually it was, but I dont know how to sync movie with audio. :( I'm technology challenged when it comes to making movies on Windows Movie Maker. XD This was the best I could do.. sorry!

  • LOL...Don't sweat it ;). I'm no whiz at this stuff either, which is why I don't have any vids of myself on the piano up on my channel yet....but I'll get around to it.

  • gj

beautifully played (even though im not an expert a piano)

  • cool

  • that was pretty darn amazing

  • i thought that i would see u perform

but when i played it it the pic doesnt move :))

  • thats really good! =]

  • woww, you're a BEASTTT on the piano!!!

  • I gotta say, you're very good. More better than me at playing the piano fast.

  • oh God.. anyway why do pianist need to have recitals? just wondering XD

recitals is like a concert rite?

  • Yeah, it's the same thing. :P

  • to XaldBalghostriped:

Pianists need to have recitals/concerts to get themselves out of their comfort zone, thereby improving their command and facility over the keyboard. It helps them reduce nervousness so when they perform for examination purposes, they don't stress too much. Anyways, it'd be no fun to have a pianist that couldn't perform because he/she was too nervous.

  • Wow, I could not have said that better.

  • DAAAMMMM!!!!!!

    so pro =]

are you gonna post your other recital pieces too? im looking forward to them xD

  • I'm not sure about my Chopin piece that I played for another recital at that same camp. I messed up wayyyy too much compared to this one.

  • it doesnt matter =]

everyone here loves to hear you play

  • Wow... I knew you were good, but, no offense, I didn't know you were THIS good! Nice work! You say you're better now? I can't wait to hear something more recent that pushes your skills like this seemed to...
