  • Bad what the F**K is goin on its the worst video in youtube..!

  • These were far less annoying than the new commercials with all that crunching and chomping that makes you want to punch anyone eating like that.

  • Why is the narrator whispering?

  • 0:02 tits :P

  • @opandaEXpresso subliminal message. Perky boobs pointing towards the kit kat sign.

  • Australian commercials are pimp

  • I was Baz in this Series of 3 Kit Kat commercials..Great memories of that day. Bring them back. I can use the money!

  • Why do the Kit Kat's have Rowntree written on them?

  • Filmed at Olympic Park in Melbourne. About to be bulldozed.

  • Look 0.17 Rowntree. The original, Rowtree Hoadley in Oz. Now it's Nestlé... unfortunately not "Nestles" as it was when I was a kid.

  • Why do I rember this ad when I was born in 1982?

  • All these years later and she still has a great butt.

  • press 4 constantly: gay

    press 5 constantly: says: eww

    press 6 constantly: says: test

    press 8 constantly: says: cow

  • @jjpds1 hey tough guy thats my grandmother!

  • idd break a piece off that fine bitch...lol...

  • 0:04 sideboob (!)

  • I bought a KitKat on holiday in Phuket last year and the wrapper said "Your favourite snack best enjoyed outdoors!"

    WTF?

With 35 degrees and 90% humidity, if there's one place not to eat a KitKat outside, it's the tropics!

  • Kit Kat's taste so much better when its in the refrigerator

  • I FUCKING LOVE KIT KATS

KIT KAT + TIMEOUT = BEST CHOCOLATES EVER

  • Looks like a well-preserved tape.

  • i miss when they came in foil :(

  • I like how the women athletes wear so much make up like models

  • LOL What a sexist ad although I guess it's typical of the era....Yum, Kit Kats, although how archaic does the packaging look?!

  • @Evilushka Guys staring at women's asses is typical of any decade.

  • Over here mate,

  • Guwoar - how blatant!

  • wait so in the old times they use to call it brownies sticks

  • I♥Kit Kat

  • KIT KAT is the cheapest chocolate bar to make..............its basically just chocolate and wafer.........and not much else. Its only asset is its crispness............theres really not much of it.

  • well what are other chocolate bars? chocolate and... caramel?

    kit kat is delicious imo

  • Theres nothing wrong with kit-kats perse..........they are the ultimate "Claytons" chocolate bar. (ie- the chocolate bar you have when your not really having a chocolate bar.)

Just dont be planning an expedition to the south pole with these in your packpack..........stick with mars and snickers only.

  • Kit Kat's are awesome straight from the fridge...

  • @stegatops Still one of the better tasting choclate bars, considering I'm not a huge candy fan.

  • LOL!! I love the guys reaction at the beginning..............CORRRR!!!!!!!!!! They wouldnt put that on anymore.

  • at 0:18 the kitkat looks so GROSS

  • I don't remember the ad but I do recall the old Kit-Kat logo.

  • Holy shit i remember this OMG its so old i was six when this commercial came on the air

  • hi blackshogun77. "cooorrrrrr" was/is a rather less than subtle show of appreciation for a pretty girl. hope that helps :)

  • A little fuckin dirty *LOL*

  • i just relized in the 70s they had like really short shorts and they looked really phemenon xD

    (gay)

  • Why is the announcer whispering?

    hah

  • i loved the guys' running outfits @ the endXD

  • i think tim tams are thee best :) so goodd

  • God I love kitkat's I can't decide whether I like those or crunch bars better.

  • The worst thing that ever happened was Nestle taking over Kit Kat. Is absolute rubbish now.

    Bring back the Rowntree's days!

  • The comment below is priceless! : ))))

  • mm gott med kitkat/mm delicious kitkat

  • Does Bar Six still exist somewhere? It was pretty much our "family" bar in the Seventies, as a treat. I haven't seen it in like 25 years.

  • weird

  • love the bloke's reaction "cooorrrrrr!!" made in an era when the only thing political correctness meant was filling out a voting ballot properly :)

  • gez, I'm american. Hi. What does "Coooorrrrr" mean?

  • cooorrr is probably a shortened version of the Cor Blimey as the Brits say!

  • lol...

  • man i can still remember kit kats looking like that....the wrapper is so different now

  • give me a break

  • Kit Kats tasted better when they still wrapped them in foil. They aren't as nice out of a plastic wrapper.

  • You know, I agree. The same with Crunch bars too. The flavor is just different.

  • yeah man!

  • That's your alzheimers kicking in from the aluminium poisoning.

  • Your daddy was a great man, back when he was alive.

Why aren't you talking Robert? Robert?

    Tell your daddy hello.

He's doin real good he said.

    Where the hell am I?

  • Ohh that sucks, I didn't realise they had stopped using foil.

  • @SirSmartyPants

soo true I went to india for vacation 3 years ago they had the foil ones they are wayyy better !!!

  • @SirSmartyPants That's right! I totally forgot about that. Not only did they taste beter, but as a erson with NO arthritis or any other disability, I have a very hard time even opening these plastic packages without using my teeth or a knife...

  • @SirSmartyPants Women are a lot less grateful when they get checked out nowadays.

Which is ironic because women as a whole are a lot fatter than back in the 70's. If I were a woman today, I'd be grateful for every compliment I got...

  • @SirSmartyPants I miss those foils too.

  • it actually does not look that good when they do the close up......But i still love to eat 'em

  • "have a braik..." i love the accent, lmao!!

  • That woman had a great ass. Those guys were so horny. Kit Kat Bars can make you feel horny all that chocolate Yeah.

  • This shows us how much times have changed. Ogling a woman like that would lead to the guy getting punched in the face these days.

  • During the Rowntree era.

  • definitly late 70s

  • You sure this was '79. This is one odd commercial from the late 70s that avtually did age well with time.

  • It came straight from a BETA video tape that had not been played since 1979 and there are other artifacts on this tape that indicate it was 1979.

  • @AustralianAds

Wow! How did you get it from BETA tape to digital so you could post it on YouTube? Talk about two very contrasting eras in motion picture viewing!

  • @HunterMann

I didn't do it. It was a friend of mine name Troy who did it. There's no digital trickery here... this is just how the picture looked when played on a BETA player again, after nearly thirty years.

  • @AustralianAds fuuuuuuuu... why didn't people use beta over vhs? This quality is amazing.

  • @sexyloser A lot of it was in the marketing. VHS could usually hold more video on it as well.

  • @sexyloser - marketing, and it seemed that Sony expected people to pay a premium price (i.e. big bucks) for the better quality.

  • @AustralianAds BETA was the superior format, after all :)

  • @AustralianAds Amazing, how good the quality is actually still after more than 30 years.

  • @vfreeck BETA tapes provided better picture quality than VHS. They were able to record to nearly the same resolution as analog TV.
