When the real Holy Ghost comes, people speak in tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance. @DJIconoclast im no expert, but my dad described to me the feeling of the power of God: once that once he had been laid hands on and prayed for, he could feel the God's power flow through him; He said it was like a flow of an electrical current passing from head to toe . So,,, i dont think its really seizures or anything, but its just a "current" of God's power. Mind blowing, but AWESOME! i hope that one day ill recieve this gift ^_^ thatd be cool - Hope this cleared things up

As a believer, i can say that I've seen people speaking in "tongues" or different dialects after they have been prayed for, and believe me, its mind blowing! but its a real gift that God can give to anyone, so even you my friend, can recieve it!
There seems to be no first aid concern for these people having seizures which worries me. Regardless as religion I think it is irresponsible to throw someone having a seizure to the ground and leave them.

In Romans 10:13 says whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved, you should be telling them to CALL JESUS name!! @kjent34 If someone is speaking in tongues to address the body or church, you need a interpretor! This is not the case here. These are people being filled and speaking unto God mysteries. See 1 Cor 14:2 This is not a service where the body is being addressed! The tongues here is to "edify self" see 1 Cor 14:4. I have conducted services addressing the body in tongues and have interpretations.
@gaurav07christ If you are a born-again Christian, you already have the Holy Spirit in You. You can be baptised with more of what you already have! Jesus is the Baptiser! Ask him to Baptise in in the Holy Ghost. All believers that were filled or baptised spoke with tongues. Acts 10:44,45. Acts 2:1-4. Notice they did the speaking. Its a free gift of God. He wants you to receive! Just confess it with your mouth and believe it with your heart and open your mouth and speak! Its yours!

The Gift of tongues is when a spirit filled believer addresses the body of Christ with a utterence in tongues. There needs to be an interpretor. But the speaking of tongues in service is a part of worship and praise. Speaking mysteries unto God. It doesn't require an interpretor and none is needed...one is simply speaking unto himself and God. Same as everyone opening their mouth and praising and worshipping at the same time in English! Except it tongues. Its okay to do that!
I'm so glad I received the Holy Spirit when I called on the name of Jesus I had the Holy Spirit right then! Praise God. But I'm also glad I received more and spoke with tongues. Didn't address the body either...I just opened my mouth and spoke. Wasn't trying to speak to other people. Then one day the gift of tongues came...I addressed the body! Tongues and Interpretation of tongues have been so misunderstood over the years by so many. Other Pentecostal people have acted like the non pentecostal people didn't have the Holy Spirit cause they didn't speak iwth tongues! People have been fighting over this for years and its really nonsense. Jesus breathed on a few and commanded "receive ye the Holy Ghost" they didn't speak with tongues then either. They did in the upper room! They just got more of what they already had!
I'm sure we'll get more comments about this. Just so you understand...all people who have accepted Christ Have the Holy Ghost whether you speak with tongues or not! Many are misunderstanding what's going on here. There are others who had the Holy Spirit in them by being saved who were recently filled. Check out the rest of the videos. Again, their are tongues showing one was was baptised. This is not the gift of tongues. That requires an interpretor! That's to message the body of Christ.
@LRClintonSFM I personally have to disagree with you. Just because someone gets saved and recieves Jesus does not mean that they have the Holy Ghost. Jesus told his disciples to go and tarry until they were indued with power and the bible says that you will recieve power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. The disciples didn't recieve it until the day of pentecost. Also you have to have spoke in tongues to have it because the tongues is the evidence of the Holy Ghost being inside you.
So that everyone understands! I do not teach that you don't have the Holy Ghost if you don't speak with tongues! All believers have the Spirit! But those recorded in the bible! No hearsay...the Bible Spoke with tongues when they were baptised in the Spirit for Filled with the Spirit! It was more of what a beleiver already has...the holy Ghost and twins!! Tongues accompanied those who were baptised or filled in the bible. The gifts of tongues is a gift to give a message to the body!
The bible says that if there is no interpreter, let them keep silence in the church. You guys are ignoring this scripture for the sake of your tradition. Please try the spirits, and see if they are of God. Whe the true Holy Ghost comes, He convicts of sin, righteousness, and of judgment. I percieve you really do love the Lord! There is the gift of tongues to the body that requires an interpretor! Then there is being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of tongues that does not. See Acts 2:4 Acts 10: 45 & 46.
In Acts 2:4 there was at Jerusalem Jews from all nations, and each heard the word of God in their own language. This gift had nothing to do with the way tongues is sought after today. Also my friend, nowhere in scripture does it say that tongues is the "evidence" of being filled with the Holy Ghost. John the baptist was filled, and never had this gift. Many many powerful preachers who were full of the Holy Ghost never had the gift of tongues. Tongues is just one of the gifts, not evidence.

The gifts of tongues(interpretation) and receiving the initial gift of the Holy Spirit are 2 different things....In Acts 2 they received the Holy Ghost and fire sat upon each of them and they spoke... the interpretation of tongues In 1Corinthians 14, is used after someone speaks during the service and prophecy comes forth of what was said
Where does it say in the bible that tongues is the "evidence" of receiving the Holy Ghost? The evidence of the Spirit, is the fruits of the Spirit. My point is this: There are different gifts. Not all recieve the gift of tongues, not all prophesy, not all have the gift of healing etc. There is only one gift of tongues that I see in scripture, and a person can be filled with the Holy Ghost, and still not have this one gift. Tongues is not guaranteed for all who are filled with the Spirit.
You are confusing the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the Receiving of the Spirit that all believers have. All saved people have the Holy Spirit in them! We are talking about the Same Holy Spirit here just more! I've never implied that if you didn't speak with tongues you don't have the spirit! You are making a irrelevant issue. Be blessed!

My husband was raised in the Pentecostal Chruch and i was strict Baptist so i was scared to death at his church at first, but i went to several Bible studies and got baptized. All you have to is believe and hold your hands up to praise Him. It is a gift. Once it happens to you, you will NEVER forget it. It is the closest thing to being in God's presence that we can experience here on earth!!! I hope you get to experience it!!!

I am filled with the Holy Ghost and never did my Pastor, or any bros. or sis.praying with me, tell me to "stop speaking in english". Speaking in tongues is nothing" you" do, the Spirit gives the utterance(Acts2:4) you do your part by obeying Acts2:38.I believe you are miss leading these people,to just tell them to stop speaking in english and open your mouth it will happen(or whatever) where is the part your telling them they got to repent, be baptized in Jesus name, and calling on His name!????

In Romans 10:13 says whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved, you should be telling them to CALL JESUS name!! Acts4:12 tells us there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, in Matt.28:18 Jesus said"All power is given unto me in heaven and earth" In other words WE don't have the power do these signs and wonders on our own only though the Power of God, which is given to those that believe and obey God's Word!

@kjent34 If someone is speaking in tongues to address the body or church, you need a interpretor! This is not the case here. These are people being filled and speaking unto God mysteries. See 1 Cor 14:2 This is not a service where the body is being addressed! The tongues here is to "edify self" see 1 Cor 14:4. I have conducted services addressing the body in tongues and have interpretations.

@gaurav07christ If you are a born-again Christian, you already have the Holy Spirit in You. You can be baptised with more of what you already have! Jesus is the Baptiser! Ask him to Baptise in in the Holy Ghost. All believers that were filled or baptised spoke with tongues. Acts 10:44,45. Acts 2:1-4. Notice they did the speaking. Its a free gift of God. He wants you to receive! Just confess it with your mouth and believe it with your heart and open your mouth and speak! Its yours!

The Gift of tongues is when a spirit filled believer addresses the body of Christ with a utterence in tongues. There needs to be an interpretor. But the speaking of tongues in service is a part of worship and praise. Speaking mysteries unto God. It doesn't require an interpretor and none is needed...one is simply speaking unto himself and God. Same as everyone opening their mouth and praising and worshipping at the same time in English! Except it tongues. Its okay to do that!

I'm so glad I received the Holy Spirit when I called on the name of Jesus I had the Holy Spirit right then! Praise God. But I'm also glad I received more and spoke with tongues. Didn't address the body either...I just opened my mouth and spoke. Wasn't trying to speak to other people. Then one day the gift of tongues came...I addressed the body! Guess what, there was an interpretation then. I was speaking to everyone at that time. Not to just God like before!

I agree. We are to seek to be filled with the Spirit of God. I have even heard some pentecostals teach that the Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit are two different things.
I believe in the gifts, but the reaseon I'm not a pentecostal is because they open the door to so many strange things. Fire is great, and it is needed, but false fire is dangerous. Anyway, thanks brother for replying with kindness

Tongues and Interpretation of tongues have been so misunderstood over the years by so many. Other Pentecostal people have acted like the non pentecostal people didn't have the Holy Spirit cause they didn't speak iwth tongues! People have been fighting over this for years and its really nonsense. Jesus breathed on a few and commanded "receive ye the Holy Ghost" they didn't speak with tongues then either. They did in the upper room! They just got more of what they already had!

I'm sure we'll get more comments about this. Just so you understand...all people who have accepted Christ Have the Holy Ghost whether you speak with tongues or not! Many are misunderstanding what's going on here. There are others who had the Holy Spirit in them by being saved who were recently filled. Check out the rest of the videos. Again, their are tongues showing one was was baptised. This is not the gift of tongues. That requires an interpretor! That's to message the body of Christ.

@LRClintonSFM I personally have to disagree with you. Just because someone gets saved and recieves Jesus does not mean that they have the Holy Ghost. Jesus told his disciples to go and tarry until they were indued with power and the bible says that you will recieve power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. The disciples didn't recieve it until the day of pentecost. Also you have to have spoke in tongues to have it because the tongues is the evidence of the Holy Ghost being inside you.

So that everyone understands! I do not teach that you don't have the Holy Ghost if you don't speak with tongues! All believers have the Spirit! But those recorded in the bible! No hearsay...the Bible Spoke with tongues when they were baptised in the Spirit for Filled with the Spirit! It was more of what a beleiver already has...the holy Ghost and twins!! Tongues accompanied those who were baptised or filled in the bible. The gifts of tongues is a gift to give a message to the body!

The bible says that if there is no interpreter, let them keep silence in the church. You guys are ignoring this scripture for the sake of your tradition. Please try the spirits, and see if they are of God. Whe the true Holy Ghost comes, He convicts of sin, righteousness, and of judgment. I percieve you really do love the Lord! There is the gift of tongues to the body that requires an interpretor! Then there is being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of tongues that does not. See Acts 2:4 Acts 10: 45 & 46.

In Acts 2:4 there was at Jerusalem Jews from all nations, and each heard the word of God in their own language. This gift had nothing to do with the way tongues is sought after today. Also my friend, nowhere in scripture does it say that tongues is the "evidence" of being filled with the Holy Ghost. John the baptist was filled, and never had this gift. Many many powerful preachers who were full of the Holy Ghost never had the gift of tongues. Tongues is just one of the gifts, not evidence.

The gifts of tongues(interpretation) and receiving the initial gift of the Holy Spirit are 2 different things....In Acts 2 they received the Holy Ghost and fire sat upon each of them and they spoke... the interpretation of tongues In 1Corinthians 14, is used after someone speaks during the service and prophecy comes forth of what was said

Where does it say in the bible that tongues is the "evidence" of receiving the Holy Ghost? The evidence of the Spirit, is the fruits of the Spirit. My point is this: There are different gifts. Not all recieve the gift of tongues, not all prophesy, not all have the gift of healing etc. There is only one gift of tongues that I see in scripture, and a person can be filled with the Holy Ghost, and still not have this one gift. Tongues is not guaranteed for all who are filled with the Spirit.

You are confusing the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the Receiving of the Spirit that all believers have. All saved people have the Holy Spirit in them! We are talking about the Same Holy Spirit here just more! I've never implied that if you didn't speak with tongues you don't have the spirit! You are making a irrelevant issue. Be blessed!

There is a reason why I am so passionate about this; here is why: When I first got saved, I started going to a pentecostal church. I soon found that most pentecostal churches really push tongues, and they don't even care whether or not those who do so are living in sin or not, just as long as they do it. My wife [a former pentecostal] used to speak in tongues, and she watched soap opera's, and wasn't living right. The strange thing is that when she repented, it all stopped. Try the spirits

Brethren...there are those who have eyes but see not! At no time does this writer ever preach that people who don't speak with tongues do not have the Holy Spirit in them! All believers who have accepted Christ do whether they speak with tongues are not! Being Baptised or filled with the Spirit always brought forth tongues to those baptised or filled in the Word of God. "For they heard them Speak with other tongues" See Acts 10:49.

My husband was raised in the Pentecostal Chruch and i was strict Baptist so i was scared to death at his church at first, but i went to several Bible studies and got baptized. All you have to is believe and hold your hands up to praise Him. It is a gift. Once it happens to you, you will NEVER forget it. It is the closest thing to being in God's presence that we can experience here on earth!!! I hope you get to experience it!!!
