Is your hair layered and if so how many layers do you have? I would love to cut my hair shorter for these types of styles but not sure what cut to get. Can u respond plzzzz,,thanks doll and u looked Marvolous !!

My hair is cut in the middy haircut that you can see on my middy haircut video. But it is grown out for however many months that was since that video...haha.

Your videos are absolutely phenomenal! This doesn't always work for me as I have curly hair to start with, so it enjoys going crazy and frizzy, but I still love this.

I agree. I have curly hair and I tried it and it just went all over the place! I have to straighten out first and then curl.

I have to do the same thing. Though curly hair makes these beautiful retro looks stay longer. I always carry a travel size brush and hairspray for touch ups. This look is so beautiful.

Thanks so much. I use a spray conditioner before I ry it and I use a heat protectant spray before I roll each individual section. Then I use the 'shine enhancing' hairspray on top. Aussie Hi Hold Hi Shine hairspray.

This is the best hairstyle ever, so elegant and will work on everyone! I wear my hair just like this all of the time. I think it would also work better if you hair is cut with layers too, it will help for better curl, my hair is naturally wavy so I get layers so it will lay better and I use rollers just for volumne. :)

This is a style I would love to wear everyday! What brand of hot rollers do you recommend? I've been using the ones that heat by steam, and they're just not cutting it.

These are old rollers so I am not really sure about the ones available right now. All I can say is that price is unimportant as long as the rollers get nice and HOT. Hot enough to burn your ears while they're setting. If they don't get hot, take them back.

Love this style...A question i was wondering if anyone could tell me. I purchased my first set of hot rollers. whats the best state your hair needs to be in before putting them in for best results. does it need to be dry? damp? sprayed with product and not squeaky clean???

I recommend clean dry hair, spraying each section with a heat protectant spray before rolling.

I have quite a few videos that actually show me rolling my hair in hot rollers, which is why I didnt roll it on camera in this one.
