I think MTV banned this because of those little pills he keeps popping. Can't get our kids hooked on antidepressants... oh wait, we've already done that. :D
It was banned b/c MTV is in with the illuminati. They don't want drones to watch this and get any ideas. But it seems their machines has become too powerful, and now we catch watch it on youtube. They'll probably send someone to kill me for saying this. farewell...
This MTV thing is intense. I've seen MTV censor some weird things. I can still remember the Weezer videos that they've warped.
They silenced out the title "Dope Nose" from its video and when they played "We are all on Drugs" it was "We are all in love." Not quite the same, especially since I think they weren't in love, which is why they were on drugs.
i love the end how the subway sinks into below and the city above like 'slides' into view. So that you can make it all out, but you dont see it all in one frame ever..cool
el laburo de este estudio sinceramente me parece impecable, interesante, y me gusta mucho las esteticas q usan y la combinatoria de las mismas , en una sola pieza.
Um maybe the song is about capitalist work being an agenda of suicide, and all those workers being drones? You know "agenda suicide", "drones work hard before they die", the dead peeps in the workplace? Nevermind.
The truth is I feel very depressed and suicidal the majority of the time and this video actually makes me feel better about myself. I guess Im not the only one.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! And mtv banned this because...of the blood and strong themes and also the suicide
however they can have practicly naked women, and they also showed that linkin park video which was worse then this and he also kills himself and cuts himself!
this is one of the most aesthetically amazing and creative videos i have every seen. whatever company or group designed and made this video deserves an award.
I find it absolutely retarded how the abomination of television, MTV, will show the most mindless and retarded videos of sluts, drugs, and violence (lol, 'gangsters') though when a video has a deeper meaning, that many won't even see, it gets banned. Why?
Because [call this conspiracy theory, I don't care] it seems as if the government wants anything that's fun to be banned, if it has anything more than a snowball's chance in hell of being dangerous.
That's why U-turns, marijuana, and raves are illegal, because the government doesn't want anybody to take risks.
Actually, the government may ban fun things, it still tolerates them, and insidiously and covertly promotes them. In a perfectly submitted society, the people 1) truly believe they are free; and 2) they have LOTS AND LOTS of intense, short-term fun.
Not trying to start a debate here, just something you may wanna think about.
They didn't like the multiple suicides, or the use of the word suicide. They said the protagonist excessively used drugs. It got played once because Moby pulled some strings for a show where he got to pick the videos.
No question, one of the best videos I've ever seen. Having it in the background while they perform the song live is incredible. Listen to them, everyone. Stop doing what you "heve to do" and do what you love. No one ever sits on his deathbed wishing he'd spent more time at the office.
I think this is one of the most amazing videos of our time...it kind of has an atomic garden sort of feel. I can not wait to see the faint in SALT LAKE CITY this month!!!!
