Jakarta isnt that fantastic, its just another metropolitan city like others. The real thing is actually to visit province like Bali or North Sumatera with its largest lake in Asia, or West Sumatera with its origin on Nasi Padang, or Yogyakarta with its Borobudur and Prambanan temple, one of 7 wonders of the world.

we did. me and my husband oftenly drink alchohol, i use go there from paris 4times a year. so havent problem at all drink alchohol, clubing ,massage etc,
It is such a breath of fresh air to hear positive opinion of my hometown. Jakarta is a misunderstood city, and the fact is, it is quite safe in Jakarta. It's friendly and exciting, to boot. I hope you would be able to visit soon!
I'm from Canada and I've been volunteering in Gorontalo (Sulawesi) for 3 and a half mounths.. I've been to jakarta twice and I just love it !
